The small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the automotive maintenance service sector are essential for the global economy and particularly for Peru. These SMEs face significant challenges related to inefficiency in their maintenance processes, often resulting in high levels of unproductive time and inadequate workflow management. This study arises from the need to optimize the operational efficiency of these businesses through the implementation of planning and continuous improvement methodologies. The sales and operations planning process has to continually evolve before the new integration dimensions in the company supply and demand areas; for many years this concept has not been well understood in the companies. The inputs and outputs of this process should be clearly individualized and accepted as responsibilities of a determined business area. A new management architecture, corresponding to this scenario, is proposed and discussed in this document. A review of the computer support requirements for this process is undertaken. The required logic is also explained, highlighting the problems of corporate culture that arise in response to these changes and how they should be avoided. The common mistakes that companies make facing this need and the key success factors for an adequate deployment are also pointed out.

The aim of this study was to analyze the relation between institutional policies on scientific integrity and licensing of Peruvian universities. It is a descriptive study analyzing Peruvian regulations on university quality assessment, university licensing (accreditation), scientific integrity regulations and the denial of university operating licenses. It was found that, of the 48 universities and 2 graduate schools that did not meet the Basic Quality Conditions under the Peruvian Institutional Licensing Model, 32 universities and 1 graduate school (66%) had deficiencies related to required scientific integrity policies. The study concludes that universities’ scientific integrity policies are an important criterion for receiving Institutional Licensing in the Peruvian university system.

The research objective was to characterize the seal integrity of vials used for pharmaceutical products as a basis for an operational reliability analysis. The vial/stopper/seal height measuring method, experimental methods and expert evaluations were used. The main result was the technical characterization of the vial capping process, as well as the determination of its working parameters and ranges.

This study shows the development of operational reliability engineering for the economic and sustainable growth of companies that wish to maintain, grow, improve and develop their own dynamic environment. In order to propose a strategy to achieve business objectives, different competencies will be explained, including business development, economic growth as an integrating concept, business culture, and knowledge and innovation management. Thus, it is intended that entrepreneurs identify the need to train and be more competitive in terms of (1) efficiency and effectiveness of processes and (2) departments and activities of the company, so that it is aligned in terms of objectives and goals.

[ENG] --- The Metallogenic Map of Peru at a scale of 1:1,000,000 (De Las Casas & Ponzoni, 1969), sponsored by the National Mining and Petroleum Society, has served as a foundation for subsequent metallogenic studies. Updated versions were developed by Bellido, E. (1972), Ponzoni, P. (1980), and Canchaya & Aranda (2001). In 2001, as part of the Andean Multinational Project, a metallogenic map of the border region between Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, and Peru, also at a 1:1,000,000 scale, was produced (Zappettini et al., 2001). Subsequently, Cardozo (2002) introduced a map delineating mineralized belts based on deposit types. In 2007 and 2008, Quispe et al. created a new metallogenetic map that identified 23 metallogenetic belts, integrating geotectonic domains, regional fault systems, and a classification of ore deposits based on mining operations and projects.

As a consequence of the 2007 financial crisis, companies have been focusing on managing the risks of normative infringement as an integral part of the notion of a business risk. This practice is encouraged by the implementation of normative with cross-border effects and reach, as well as by the growing internal regulations of autonomous criminal liability of corporate bodies systems.In the context of the circumstances described, in the present article the author analyzes: (i) the practical performance of the Criminal Compliance programs; (ii) their minimum content to exonerate or mitigate the criminal liability of the corporate bodies involved in a crime or offence; and, (iii) the challenges for the lawyer specialized in Criminal Law that this new approach of criminal preventingcounseling enforces.

So far, Peruvian nuclear research reactors RP-10 and RP-0 have been operating only with uranium oxide fuel elements (U3O8+Al). In the future RP-10 reactor will operate with mixed cores (U3Si2+Al, U3O8+Al). For this reason the calculus capacity has to be increased in order to be able to handle the new fuel management. Since preparation of nuclear libraries for diffusion calculation requires a significant amount of computational and human resources a new tool that processes libraries generation and diffusion calculations is necessary.

In the field of databases, the lack of traceability of transactions or operations in a database is vital to respond to incidents that may originate within them, such as the alteration of unauthorized information. This article proposes an auditing model to mitigate risk using Oracle's object and transaction auditing approach. Finally, a laboratory was implemented in which the proposed model was deployed, ensuring the information's confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Within the framework of the Las Bambas mining megaproject, the industrial operation of B5 diesel fuel supply was regulated by contract CB02912, in which the parties involved were Xstrata Copper and Petróleos del Perú. In the industrial operation, it was estimated that up to 8 % of goods were not delivered between years 2012 and 2013, resulting in untimely fuel shortages in the customer’s facilities, noncompliance with diesel fuel cleanliness standards, among others. The present research establishes the guidelines for the comprehensive management of the contract.

The management of hospital institutions is becoming more and more complex. The current situation requires abandoning functional management models for operational ones that integrate preventive, curative, and managerial functions efficiently to raise the quality of care. This article analyzes the evolution of process management practices in the administration of hospital services. Bibliographic and documentary review, participatory scientific observation, interviews, and observation of the processes are used to determine key variables for the analysis of models, complemented with a descriptive quantitative bibliometric analysis of the main applications of the functions of operations management in hospital systems. The functions most used in hospital models and their influence on the quality of care processes are determined.
