Ambiguity in linguistic expression causes an alteration in the transmitted message, which has an unfavorable impact on the recipient's interpretation. It constitutes a fact observed in all contexts, including the professional one, such as that of the University of Medical Sciences of Villa Clara, Cuba. Hence, the objective of the work was to analyze the negative effects caused by this phenomenon in professional communication. Consequently, a descriptive and synchronous study was carried out, where theoretical methods - analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction - were used; empirical methods—observation and documentary review—as well as systematic exchange with professionals from that institution. The percentage analysis was used to process the information. The universe: 49 research projects, framed between 2018 and 2022. The sample: 25 documents (51%). Then, the recorded data was analy...

Ambivalent sexism proposes that male hegemony is sustained through devotion to mothers, wives and carers and through hostility towards women who do not fulfill these roles. These patterns would increase violent communication to women, an effect that would be increased by individual differences such as fear of negative social assessment (TESN). We sought to identify the impact of TESN and the six components of ambivalent sexism on destructive communication styles in the couple, analyzing data from 590 young participants. Regressions and models of structural equations confirm effects of hostile sexism and TESN on destructive communication, but only for men. The effects of each component of ambivalent sexism on destructive communication are discussed.

Flower production is an important item in the Ecuadorian economy, but intensive monoculture systems of species such as Gypsophila paniculata cause alterations in the soil. The objective was to evaluate the effect of the incorporation of organic amendments in the form of compost and vermicompost in the Gypsophila monoculture soil. A trial was considered under greenhouse conditions, with a completely randomized design (CRD) with nine treatments. Gypsophila was planted in pots with Gypsophila production soil from Ecuador to which compost and vermicompost doses were added to evaluate three harvest cycles. Foliar absorption and fresh weight of green matter were determined. After harvest 1 and harvest 3, the soil substrate was characterized. The incorporation of compost or vermicompost compared to the Control treatment, improves the foliar absorption of phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and sul...

This paper aims to highlight the negative consequences arising from the impact on the best interests of the child due to the new regulation on notarized travel authorizations, which allows one parent to authorize travel under exceptional circumstances. These exceptional cases lack effective control parameters and include: (i) the presence of illnesses or treatments requiring medical care, supported by medical reports; (ii) when the child or adolescent must study abroad, whether for a student exchange program or a scholarship; and (iii) participation in academic or sports Olympiads. These exceptions lead to legal loopholes and pose risks of unjustified restrictions on parental authority (patria potestad), which is a right and duty shared by both parents. However, restoring or reclaiming this authority requires intervention by a specialized judge through lengthy and burdensome legal procee...

In this paper, the negative impact of purchase orders with penalties for a private company in the health sector with contracts with the Peruvian government is analyzed. The research question focuses on how to reduce the number of penalties, and the objective is to reduce logistical issues. Vester’s methodology and Ishikawa and Pareto diagrams were applied to prioritize problems and determine their causes and effects. It was found that failure to meet deadlines is the primary reason for the penalties levied by the government. Therefore, it is necessary to implement process improvement methodology in the Supply Area to reduce penalties, in order to ensure compliance with all contracts and as a consequence, achieve greater organizational profitability.

In the last years, the Peruvian Tax Court has been considered that a corporate spin off where a company transfers a “neutral” or “negative” equity block does not qualifies as a real spin off, hence it should apply the tax rules as if this operation was a common sale. The author analyzes this criterion, and concludes that spin off where a company transfers a “neutral” or “negative” equity block, constitutes a real spin off. As a consequence, it must apply the special tax rules established for the corporate spin off.

The results of 443 763 periodic controls of daily milk production (DMP) carried out between January 2006 and December 2018 in five Holstein dairy farms in the Lima region were related to meteorological information (maximum and minimum temperature and relative humidity), under temperature-humidity indexes (THI) to represent the current state and the trends of the relationships between DMP and possible thermal stress (TS) identified by the level of THI. The DMP levels along the THI levels showed a response curve with a THI tolerance zone where there is little variation in DMP and threshold point at THI >68 from which DMP is reduced at a rate of -0.413 kg of milk per unit of increase in THI. Analyzed as a whole, this negative response represents an impact of -365 kg of milk per cow per year. It is concluded that all the trends are consistent in pointing out antagonism between TS and DMP,...
