It is ascertained that the transition of the development of scientific psychology has associated to the development of the psychology in the field of professional implementation using for that the own technology of models of intervention, from the clinical, educational or social and organizational field. The objective of this article is to explore the communities generated on YouTube by content creators on complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). Through graph theory, visual network analysis and a broad overview of the content of selected channels, communities are examined to assess their strength as a community in terms of their degree of connectedness and density. Strong communities are composed of individuals who spread the word about the same topic and viewpoint, acting as one block. Results showed that content creators who promote CAM on YouTube have small and weak communities; in contrast, content creators related to scientific dissemination, who are against CAM, have built strong communities.

In the present work I propose that the epistemological positions of Thomas Aquinas and Francisco Suárez can be conceived as complementary insofar as we clarify how knowledge is formed for each one. In the first place, it is necessary to examine the principle of individuation in relation to abstraction in Aquinas. Second, the differences around the same issue are analyzed in Suárez. Finally, both positions are compared to establish two theories that can be conceived as two aspects that complete the same process of our knowledge and can form the basis of a laterepistemology in favor of the knowledge of reality.

The use of complementary therapies in the care of the population with drug use problems continues to be a phenomenon of interest to the health professional and researcher, especially for nurses, who provide holistic care. Objective: to synthesise the available scientific evidence regarding therapies used in psychoactive substance use disorders in young people. Objective: Determine the relationship between maternal knowledge and practices on complementary feeding in a health center in Lambayeque, Peru 2021. Method: This research was non-experimental, quantitative, correlational, cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 151 mothers, obtained by StatCalc, from a population of 250. The sampling was simple random probabilistic, the technique used was the survey and the instrument was a questionnaire prepared by Barzola, resulting in 0.059 in the table of concordance, determining its validity, the Kuder Richardson statistical test was also applied with a result of 0.62. The objective of the research was to identify the effect of a complementary academic program on the improvement of entrepreneurship competence at level 1 (n1) among undergraduate students. To achieve this, an experimental program was conducted in 2020, based on the Lean Startup methodology, utilizing a quantitative, quasi-experimental approach with Solomon’s design. The sample consisted of 112 students, and the evaluation tool employed was a rubric that had been validated by a committee of experts and approved by the institution’s assessment area. A questionnaire was administered and analyzed using the Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney tests. The findings demonstrated an improvement in the competence and its dimensions within the experimental groups, indicating that the experimental group without a pretest exhibited superior results.

Heartworm disease is a parasitic infection with worldwide distribution, caused by the Dirofilaria immitis nematode and transmitted by culicid mosquitoes, with canines being the main hosts. Serologic tests provide some diagnostic help but are not conclusive. This report describes a clinical case of a canine in which the serological tests for filarial detection and the tests for the detection of microfilaraemia were inconclusive. However, the use of standardized protocols using ultrasound as part of the physical examination, evidenced the presence of cardiac filarials. The importance of reporting this case is to present a clinical protocol that includes cardiac ultrasound for an accurate diagnostic approach.
