This descriptive research examines the performance on reading comprehension of four gifted adolescents participating in a reading enrichment program. This performance is related to the variables associated to the gifted performance following the model developed by Mönks: motivation, creativity, high ability, school, peers and family. Results showed that school does not satisfy the cognitive needs of these students and it does not offer the required social support either. The family provides the main social support. The motivation, creativity, the high level of language and concentration of the participants facilitate learning. The reading program is described by the participants as motivating due to the subject-matters and methodology; furthermore, due to the opportunity to deal with peers who have a similar cognitive level.

The objective of the research was to evaluate the effectiveness of the educational program "Chabuca Granda en la Escuela" in the development of cultural identity in school adolescents from the San Martín de Porras district of Lima, Peru. A quantitative approach of quasi-experimental design was used, the sample was non-random of 52 students, belonging to the VI cycle of regular basic education at the secondary level. The sample was divided into a control and experimental group of 26 students. The Cultural Identity Scale pre-test was applied to both groups. Reality shows us that sexuality education is being addressed poorly either because it is reduced to mere genitality, giving a biological or cultural approach, or because governments aim to provide young people in schools a purely instrumental sex education bringing as a result a trivialization of sexuality in adolescents. The aim of this research is to establish guidelines for the implementation of health education programs sexuality, with personalist vision for adolescents in Peru, based on complementarity or integrity.

The objective of this research was to present the effects of a psycho-emotional care program in reducing depression in victims of sexual abuse in a hospital in the Callao Region, 2019. It was carried out in 30 adolescent patients who were evaluated in levels of depression using the Beck Depression Inventory instrument (BID IIA). The pre and posttest quasi-experimental design was used. The results revealed that the experimental group significantly decreased depressive symptoms, finding a t = 20.34 and a p = <.001. The difference of the means in the post-test increased in favor of the experimental group in the two dimensions somatic t = 17.52 and a p = <.001 and affective cognitive t = 18.97 and a p = <.001. Finally, it is concluded that the program is effective in reducing depression in adolescents and it is recommended to train psychologists in it.

This investigation was done in order to identify students with low levels of protective factors in suicidal risk (assertiveness, effective communication, self-esteem, decision making), evaluated with a questionnaire Ad Hoc (authors) and complementary the suicide risk, assessed with the Suicide Risk Questionnaire of Plutchik, in130 students of second, third and fourth year of a State School in the town of Huánuco, Peru. 29% (38 students) fulfill the inclusion criteria mentioned. The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of an educational program to promote changes in knowledge, attitudes and practices of adolescents about sexually transmitted diseases (STIs, HIV / AIDS) in the national school Illathupa Huánuco 2006-2007. Was applied pre and post test using a structured questionnaire with questions that allowed the balancing of both groups on Knowledge, Attitude and Practice of (STIs, HIV / AIDS). The sample consisted of 116 adolescent students of the 4th year of secondary education, 66 for the experimental group and 50 in the control group. The present research aimed to improve the Maternal Attitudes of the inmates ofthe Pacasmayo Penitentiary Establishment, by formulating and application of aprogram. The mothers were evaluated using the “Roth”Maternal Attitudes Inventory. The experimental design research consisted of 35 inmates. Theresults show deficiency in the dimensions of over indulgence and overprotection, after the execution of the program, significant changes were detected in the two factors mentioned, increasing the number of mothers who present positive behaviors, decreasing the mothers who excessively reward their children, said This change will project a better relationship and therefore leads to more potential development despite the mother's deprivation of liberty.Keywords: Maternal attitudes, acceptance, overprotection, over indulgence.

The importance of play as a learning tool must be considered in the educational and learning process of the student-patients who are hospitalized in health centers. Hospital Teaching is not widely used in our country, nor do we have Hospital Teaching Programs established by the Government. However, there are Agencies of Non-Governmental Organizations engaged in providing education and recreation for children and adolescents suffering from illness and who are hospitalized. For this reason, Hospital Teaching Programs provide education and use play as a learning and recreational tool to enhance the development of social and soft skills.

The existence of several causes of antisocial behavior during adolescence seems to respond, not only to the combination of many risk factors within different levels of human development, but also to cultural and historical processes affecting, in many ways, several generations since their early childhood. This paper revises the main explicative theories about antisocial behavior during adolescence and highlights the theory of the Neuropsychological Taxonomy of the Antisocial Behavior proposed by Terrie E. Moffitt (1993, 1994, 1996, 2003). Moreover, some studies are mentioned due to the fact that they confirm the cross-cultural validity of Moffitt’s theorical model and its  contributions to the design of prevention programs against delinquency for youngsters and adolescents in our context.

Objective: To determine the effects of the “Free of COVID-19” educational program on the preventive social skills of teenagers treated at a provincial hospital in Peru. Materials and methods: An explanatory, pre-experimental, longitudinal and prospective research with a pretest and posttest intact group design. Introduction: The objective of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of treatment programs for cyberaddiction in children and adolescents. Material and Methods: Five databases were searched. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) or cohort studies that evaluated the efficacy of treatment programs for cyberaddiction in children and adolescents were selected. The primary outcome was a decrease in hours of Internet use. For the meta-analysis, the random effects model with inverse variance method was used. Results: Seven articles were identified and included in the systematic review (3 randomized controlled trials and 4 retrospective cohorts), with a total of 2396 participants.
