A new approach for analysis of entire potsherds of archaeological interest by INAA, using the conventional relative method, is described. The analytical method proposed involves, primarily, the preparation of replicates of the original archaeological pottery, with well known chemical composition (standard), destined to be irradiated simultaneously, in a well thermalized external neutron beam of the RP-10 reactor, with the original object (sample). The concentrations determined by irradiation of the entire replicates, in comparison with those obtained from the analysis of the aliquots, show a reasonable agreement; in particular, the percentage recoveries for lanthanum and scandium, with differences ≤ 10 % with respect to the reference. It has been determined qualitatively and quantitatively , the presence of chemical elements in a sample of imported glass frit yellow , also , some of their physical properties. This conventional techniques were used in both cases , and analysis techniques Fluorescence energy dispersive X -ray (XRF ) and neutron activation analysis ( NAA ), which can detect elements such as zirconium , lead, niobium , arsenic , chlorine , manganese, vanadium , dysprosium , hafnium , barium, and others which are in very low concentration. This study provides partial results of a 200-hour intensive training experience (called a diplomado) lasting one school year (2011-2012) for 35 indigenous teachers of Initial education who attend children 0 to 3 years old in marginalized communities of Oaxaca, mexico. We describe an application, developed in Microsoft Excel, for the complete processing of data and automated presentation of results, of k_0-based instrumental neutron activation analysis. The application makes extensive use of the data generated by the Canberra's Genie-2000 spectroscopy system, minimizing the manual input of data by the user. A special feature of the application is the automatic determination of significant figures for each result, as well as the automatic rounding and presentation of the results and their expanded uncertainties (k=2), in the right format. The application has been validated by the analysis of reference materials and it is on production and maintenance steps. The use of the application has allowed the improvement of the efficiency, of the analytical work, in the Laboratory of Nuclear Analytical Techniques of IPEN.

As of the publication of the Law on Indigenous Languages (Law 29735), the use of native languages in any public and private space has become more relevant in Peru. The proof of this are television projects that include languages other than Spanish; even the creators of this content demonstrate a position in favor of the diffusion of the native languages and their culture. The objective of this article is to analyze the translation work performed by the interpreters of the micronoticist Letras TV Willakun to evaluate it as a case of language activism in favor of theQuechua language and culture. The work concludes that, after interviewing the interpreters and part of the program’s audience, this is a case of important developing activism in the university environment, despite its difficulties in the translation process.

This paper analyzes the concept of active listening from two epistemological perspectives: as a disposition and as a technique, showing that although they are different, they are interrelated and can be either complementary or irreconcilable, depending on the theoretical approach adopted. Active listening as a disposition is related to the internal attitudes of the therapist or facilitator, such as authenticity, empathy, and unconditional acceptance—characteristic of humanistic psychotherapy. This approach values the human encounter and the relationship as ends in themselves. In contrast, active listening as a technique refers to observable behaviors (such as paraphrasing or emotional validation), typical of models focused on problem-solving and behavioral change. Cajamarquilla, an important archaeological complex located east of Lima. It has an occupation from the Early Intermediate (200-600 AD) to the Late Intermediate (900-1440 AD). It has been the object of various archaeological investigations from the beginning of the 20th century to the present; however, despite numerous studies, the conservation carried out by Albert Giesecke in 1938, carried out in parallel in Pachacamac in the south west of Lima, is unknown. Prior consultation is one of the most important instruments for the relationship between the State and the indigenous peoples. Prior consultation is also a key right for the survival and respect for the ways of life of indigenous peoples. This right is included in ILO Convention 169 and calls on the State Party to sit down face to face with indigenous peoples before issuing an administrative or legislative measure that may affect them.However, prior consultation is not only a right, but also an administrative procedure. It is there where the procedure has presented several improvable and perfectible factors. In the following article, we will analyze a series of elements of the prior consultation processes that need to be improved, focusing on the field of extractive activities.

The 2021 general elections in Peru took place in an unusual context generated by many factors. In addition to taking place within the bicentennial year of the country's independence and having eighteen presidential candidates, the electoral process was marked by a deep political crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic. In this context, the present research aims to understand how the political communication of the candidates and their political parties was managed on social media during the first round of these presidential elections. To find this, a metric analysis is applied oriented to the presence and activity of candidates and political parties in social media. The findings reveal a high level of presence of candidates and political parties, a clear phenomenon of personalization in political communication and the concentration of posts, especially in Facebook and Twitter.

Objective: To know the characteristics of sexual activity in pregnant women without obstetric risk who attend public hospitals in Lima. Material and Methods: exploratory, multicenter, descriptive and cross-sectional study, conducted during the first half of 2014 in 9 public hospitals in Lima. The sample was made up of pregnant women without obstetric risk who attended the outpatient clinic of obstetric departments. Anon-probabilistic model is used for convenience. An expert validated survey was conducted on patients who voluntarily agreed to participate and signed the informed consent. The information was analyzed using STATA 21 software. A method that combines the use of non-destructive neutron activation analysis and high-resolution spectrometry has been developed for determination of the activities of U-234 and U-238 in geological samples of low uranium content. The U-238 content is determined by k0-based neutron activation analysis, whereas the U-234/U-238 relationship is measured by spectrometry after isolation and electrodeposition of the uranium extracted from a lixiviation with 6 M HCl. The main advantage of the method is the simplicity of the chemical operations, including the fact that the steps destined to assure similar chemical state for the tracer and the uranium species present in the sample are not necessary. The effect of selenium supplementation on reproductive and productive performance, tissue concentration and GSH-Px activity in sows and their progeny was evaluated in a meta-analysis study. Twelve articles were used that included 4698 animals. Under the random effects model, effect size, heterogeneity, meta-regressions and publication bias were determined. Reproductive variables were not affected by the source of selenium. Piglet birth weight was higher (p=0.031) in sows that received inorganic selenium (SeI) 1.47 vs. 1.46 kg from the organic source (SeO). Piglet weaning weight was 135 g greater (p=0.105) in sows from the SeO group. Objective: To estimate the cost-effectiveness of Abatacept in combination with Methotrexate (MTX) versus other biologic DMARDs in combination with MTX in patients with moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis. Materials and methods: A sequential therapy model was adapted for representing disability using the HAQ Index in a 5-year horizon period for a 1000-patient cohort. Abatacept in combination with MTX was compared against etanercept, rituximab, infliximab, adalimumab, and tocilizumab, all of them combined with MTX. Results: The cost of abatacept therapy was S/. 169 263 and its effectiveness was found to be 1.96 QALY. Compared to etanercept, adalimumab, infliximab and tocilizumab, abatacept has shown to be the most effective agent in terms of QALYs and the least expensive.
