Cajamarquilla, an important archaeological complex located east of Lima. It has an occupation from the Early Intermediate (200-600 AD) to the Late Intermediate (900-1440 AD). It has been the object of various archaeological investigations from the beginning of the 20th century to the present; however, despite numerous studies, the conservation carried out by Albert Giesecke in 1938, carried out in parallel in Pachacamac in the south west of Lima, is unknown. The present study seeks to describe the activities and level of intervention in Cajamarquilla with respect to Pachacamac through the review of unpublished information from the archive, publications, photographic record, the state of conservation and the activities carried out are explored, to subsequently analyze said activities comparatively. The restoration of the Acllawasi or Temple of the Mamaconas represents one of the first large-scale interventions carried out in the Sanctuary of Pachacamac. It owes its importance not only to the fact that Julio C. Tello executed it between 1940 and 1944, but also to the monument’s importance among the buildings that make up the sanctuary. Nonetheless, despite its transcendence, little is known about the goals and ends that determined the restoration of this edifice. El estudio de la arquitectura monumental y residencial desarrollado durante el Período Precerámico Tardío en la costa central y norcentral ha sido y es, en los últimos años, un permanente centro de atención para los arqueólogos peruanos y extranjeros. Comprender y acercarse el cómo se organiza su construcción es un tema que está pendiente de resolver. En ese sentido, la presente tesis tiene como finalidad poner en conocimiento los resultados obtenidos en el estudio de las bolsas de contención de fibras (comúnmente llamadas shicras) para el sitio Precerámico de Cerro Lampay, donde éstas fueron usadas como elemento constructivo en la arquitectura residencial y pública. Dicha investigación nos permite aproximarnos al entendimiento del proceso y organización de la construcción de estructuras públicas en dicho período.
