The systematic analysis of the business political action is still a debt for much of the social sciences. To this extent, most studies focused on business behavior have tried to explain how businessmen behave rather than why they do what they do. The why has been usually theoretically deduced from a set of axioms that determine what can be expected from business’ action. This paper proposes a shift on the focus and suggests the need for a more critical empirical research on the mechanisms and processes that help to explain why business act in certain ways under certain circumstances. With this aim, the paper visits a set of theories that taken together build a frame for discussing the business political action as a research problem. Based on that revision, the paper also suggests that in order to comprehend the businesses political behavior no single theory is enough, but a ...

At what point we can say that a debtor's conduct impairs the right to collect that assists the creditor. When the judge warned that caused damage or not at the time exercised judicially collection. There are perhaps criteria for the existence of damages, if any, perpetrating against the economic rights of the creditor or what interest and rights should prevail, the creditor or the third party that purchased the debtor. At the national level, our little or no doctrine has not taken pains to address this real problem and less to our puny jurisprudence, according to the revised our Supreme Court decisions. It is worrying that our legal theorists have not taken into account that the injury historically known as damni events, such as a nuclear aspect of the revocatory action, has cavalierly ignored. In the present article is to outline more precisely the problem of determining the eventus damn...

I understand, as Kafka does, that the situation of the bureaucracy of the early twentieth century in Europe in 'The trial’, that corruption has as one of its roots the lack of a sense of community. In this article I propose to overcome the rational choice approach. That way I can combine it with one (that) can understand corruption as collective action. That is why I reflect on the next four key questions to understand this approach: A) what is a collective action problem? this detaches that high levels of trust are significantly related with lower levels of corruption. B) When can we talk about societies where corruption is more the norm than an exception? this deduces that confidence is at stake, specially, in institutions. And c) in which degree the environment determines human behavior in relation with social psychology? Thus, this new paradigm addresses institutions of public admi...

Three hundred fifty-seven university records of students reported as undergoing academic problems were studied between Abril 1990 and August 1996. Research was aimed at determining the contributing factors to the problem and also at designing academic support programs and psychopedagogical support actions, and others on a preventive basis. Three study areas were selected: intelligence, as assessed through the WAIS test; personality as assessed through both the GuilfordZimmerman Temperament and the MMPI Inventories; and study habit, through Brown’s Study Abilities Survey.

The article comments the content of the chapter to eradicate statelessness of the Brazil Plan of Action, and its actions aimed at the prevention of statelessness, the protection of stateless persons, and the resolution of existing cases. It also explains the linkages of such actions with those contained in UNHCR Global Action Plan to End Statelessness. Finally, the article presents the current stage and some major developments in the region with regard to accession to the statelessness conventions, the adequacy of national legislation to international standards, the adoption of legal frameworks on the protection of stateless persons, the establishment of statelessness determination procedures, and the search of solutions to the problem of statelessness.

This work describes and evaluates the application of a module to increase the specific abilities set in action when students resolve math problems. Such abilities are: analyzing the problem, identifying and laying out strategies, applying algorithms and revising the process that leads to the solution. The module presents problems solved by the teacher (modelling strategies) and uses the work of peers in order to consolidate and evaluate the work. The study uses a quasi experimental design with two pre defined groups, pre and post test. The sample was not probabilistic and was formed by 70 students. A test with 10 math problems was used as the instrument meant for the students to use the four strategies suggested in the module. Results show a difference in favor of the experimental group, which allows us to conclude that the module has an influence in the evaluated abilities.

The class action was established in the 19th century, highlighting its relevance over time. In Peru, its incorporation materialized with the Constitution of 1933. However, since its implementation, several problems have arisen in its understanding. The objective of this paper is to clarify the deficiencies present in Article 133 of the Political Constitution of Peru and to propose an exegesis congruent with the normative text. To this end, the context, content and application of the norm in question will be analyzed in order to arrive at the most adequate reading of the aforementioned article.

Experimental studies have polycythemias dual purpose; First, they can provide useful information for interpreting the other polycythemias mechanism occurring in man; also to better clarify constribuyen erythropoietic function. In our country, flushing height is a problem that deeply interested; production mechanism and implications physiologism have been studied by Professors Monge, Hurtado et al. In our stay in the United States, when we worked in the laboratories of Eleazar Barron, one of the topics we chose as research was polycythaemia caused by cobalt. At the same time we studied the oxidation of ascorbic acid and was discussed on the role of this vitamin in the mechanism of erythropoiesis reason that prompted us to investigate the action that ascorbic acid might exert on the development of polycythemia by cobalt and the study of the intimate mechanism of this polycythemia.

The present article is structured according to two transcendental subjects for the Education in Peru: One is the approach of the investigation-action within the framework of the theories about the practice of the educational function, and the other is the investigation-action as a strategy of learning in the formation of the teaching staff. The investigation process-action constitutes a continuous process, a spiral, in which the moments of problem, diagnosis, design of a change proposal, application of the proposal and evaluation take place, to reinitiate a new circuit beginning with a new problematic situation. This type of investigation acquires a great importance in our educative field because it helps to surpass the binomials of theory-practice; educator-investigator; and thus it makes possible to unify theory and practice. In such sense, it is necessary that the educational investig...

Governments are implementing fiscal and monetary flexibility to reverse the negative effects of global crisis, but the results are sterile or minimal. Despite that injected billions of dollars to save their financial operations, multinational corporations continue to show signs of economic deterioration, so much so that flagship companies in the world have fallen into the worst crisis in the history. The fact that businesses continue in the pernicious cycle of crisis; although, financial aid is valid to assert that the paradigms of business also need a deep restructuring of their philosophy. That is why the crisis facing the model of globalization and economic merits of solutions that will not be sustainable over time, which requires global solutions, inclusive and integrate in such a way that leads to the world economy to grow symmetrically banishing all this action is know as speculato...

This article reconstructs the notion of action that, anchored in a wider account of imputation practices, Hegel develops in the “Morality” chapter of his Philosophy of Right, beginning with a preliminary clarification of what it means that “crime” designates something that has the status of an action. Considering a set of premises found in some recent analytically oriented interpretations of Hegel’s work developed by Robert Brandom and Michael Quante, I examine the distinction proposed by Hegel between the concepts of deed and action, to then clarify the meaning of the “·right of knowledge” and its relationship to the “right of intention”. This enables one to make explicit the particular form of “compatiblism” that can be extracted from Hegel’s philosophy as a way to face the problem of moral luck.

The article shows an example of application of the methodology of action research. We present the design and results of a study based on the mobile phone in the aspect of pricing decisions, it’s comparison of means for dependent samples, measuring the effect on incoming cellular telephone traffic due to changing pricing strategy, by cellular operator. In case, the customer behavior with traffic reduced incoming calls to cell phones manifests an initial problem that affected the company’s earnings. Among various alternatives, the mode change for the customer tariff suggests increase receiving phone calls, raising the incoming telephone traffic and revenue. To corroborate this hypothesis we defined a random sample of 25 clients who applied a new tariff model, on a restricted basis for a month, tracking the results through the computer system. This type of experiment is called the mean ...

This article analyzes the construction of mining as a public issue in Argentina and its impact on the institutional framework of the mining sector. From a qualitative approach, two subnational states that promote mining are analyzed: the Provinces of Jujuy and San Juan. In the context of socioenvironmental conflicts, mining has been questioned which pressured subnational states to introduce institutional changes. The analysis focus on the repertoires of collective action of local populations, the construction of networks of actors for the visibility of the problem, as well as the moral and cognitive factors that influenced the problematization of mining in Argentina.

“Joints and Problems of Property according to Hegel”. Hegel’s theory of property according to the person’s abstract law in his Philosophy of Law states (a) that property is the external objectification of free will through appropriation (common or private) of exterior things; (b) that property does not only refer to a previously given world, but also to the absolute difference between persons and things and to the proto-economic problem of the persons’ access to things through their actions; (c) that the property that is rationally necessary for the free person-hood supposes the recognition between self-consciousness (even so the notions of recognition and objective spirit be improvable constructions with a detailed analytics both philosophical and empirical); and (d) that property, without refusing the typical formalism of private law, demands the concrete universality of publ...

Population growth generates a higher demand for food and, thereby the waste of larger quantities of food. The fight against this problem has been initiated in several countries through strict regulations that manage food waste: Peru has made proposals related to the use of food waste, however, they were ineffective when it became evident that there was a lot of waste The objective of this article is to analyze the management of food waste in Peru and the world, both in terms of regulations and situation; for this purpose, a bibliographic review was carried out taking into account the guidelines of circularity in food. The results obtained show deficiencies in the Peruvian and world regulatory framework, with the exception of Europe. It was found that the generation of food waste is abundant worldwide, especially in the hotel, restaurant and cafeteria sector, with portion size being the m...

This paper considers the proposal, development and numerical simulation of a system that models the behavior of the treatment of HIV-1 using antiretrovirals. The system defined for three dependent variables of the variable t, denoted by X(t)=(x1 (t), x2 (t), x3 (t)) represent the amount of T Lymphocytes "Helpers" (CD4), number of Cytotoxic T Lymphocytes (CD8) Viral load and infection process of HIV-1 at any time t, respectively. The assembly consists of a Nonlinear Ordinary Differential Equations system whose existential domain represents time system evaluation process of infection and viral clearance in a patient with HIV-1. This set of states of Nonlinear Dynamic System, associated with the initial value condition is called Cauchy problem. There are few studies related to the solution of this system, found some of the study are reduced to two variables and others without obtaining the ...
