Dichotomous keys are resources or tools that researchers, teachers or other personnel linked to the study of biological sciences use for the determination of diff erent species of organisms, by comparing two exclusive characters. The investigation proposes diff erent dichotomous keys, illustrated in electronic format, for the identifi cation of diff erent aquatic and terrestrial vertebrate taxa present in Cuban fauna that includes orders, families, genera and species, and that are in correspondence with the Zoology Program’s General II (Zoology of the chordates), which is taught in the Degree in Biology Education at the Central University “Marta Abreu” of Las Villas, in the Republic of Cuba. Various theoretical and empirical methods were used in the investigation in their dialectical interrelation which allowed identifying the existing defi ciencies and proposing the solution. Th e...

Objective. Objective. To design a proposal regarding administration as a management tool in the Minimarket Minisol company. Methods. The research approach was qualitative, while the level was descriptive. Interviews were applied to the owner and collaborators of the company, who formed the unit of analysis of the study. Results. Planning is the first element of the administrative process in order to diagnose a company and propose future strategies and operational tactics that are sustainable over time. The organization is the second element of the administrative process that orients the company towards the organizational design; thus, a matrix organizational model was designed, with greater depth in the new needs of the company and the organization chart that, according to the ergonometric taxonomy, is matrix by its figure. Also, an organization chart of the external and internal process...

The push for the use of 360° narratives comes from the popularization of the phenomenon on networks, especially since 2015. In Spain, the Lab de Radio y Televisión Española has been experimenting with this technology, offering recordings of shows and documentaries and pioneering the recording of the first interactive virtual reality episode of a television series. In order to learn about the characteristics, challenges and difficulties of broadcasting 360° events, this paper takes as a case study the broadcasting of the Goya Awards Gala on RTVE. This is a live event where the most outstanding figures of Spanish cinema during the previous year are awarded. The chosen method is based on a previous interview with two people in charge of the RTVE Lab, who are responsible for the 360o production of the gala. Based on the data collected in the interview, a content analysis model was design...

Nitrogen (N) cycling in rangeland soils could potentially be controlled by water supply, stocking rates, or a range of other variables, such as ecosystem N stocks. To gauge the relative importance and elucidate possible interactions among these factors, we measured many abiotic variables to identify first-order controls of δ15N for Patagonia's rangeland soils under contrasting historical grazing intensities. The results showed that δ15N values declined as water availability increased. The effects of precipitation and stocking rate on soil δ15N values were additive, and the effect of precipitation far outweighed the effects of grazing pressure. The soil N stock was a weak predictive variable for modeling variation in δ15N of the soil. Earlier assumptions about an inflection point for N cycling and δ15N values related to aridity were not confirmed. We conclude that variation in water ...

Peru has several foods with high lipid content (especially oils), rich in omega fatty acids (ω-3 and ω-6) that are widely studied for their anti-inflammatory (ω-3) and pro-inflammatory (ω-6) effects. However, ω-3 and ω-6 are susceptible to oxidation resulting in accelerated deterioration of the oils. The objective of this work was to determine the oxidative stability index (OSI) of vegetable (seeds) and animal (anchoveta) oils from Peru, with high ω-3 and ω-6 contents, in order to compare oxidation kinetic parameters and shelf life. For this purpose, the Rancimat accelerated oxidation method was used, whose working parameters were: air flow (F = 25 L/h), sample weight (M = 3 g) and temperature range (T = 60-140 °C). The results indicated that the OSI values, as well as the shelf-life projection (T = 25°C) were in the following order: olive oil > chestnut > sesame > sac...

Environmental conflict analysis (henceforth ECA) has become a key factor for the viability of projects and welfare of affected populations. In this study, we propose an approach for ECA using an integrated grey clustering and entropy-weight method (The IGCEW method). The case study considered a mining project in northern Peru. Three stakeholder groups and seven criteria were identified. The data were gathered by conducting field interviews. The results revealed that for the groups urban population, rural population and specialists, the project would have a positive, negative and normal social impact, respectively. We also noted that the criteria most likely to generate environmental conflicts in order of importance were: access to drinking water, poverty, GDP per capita and employment. These results could help regional and central governments to seek appropriate measures to prevent envir...

Information generation, data processing and territorial approaches are keys to more accurate cultural and urban policies, whether at a community, private or public sphere. This article discusses the main findings from the cultural mapping project "Cultural Cartographies of Lima" (Nodos Culturales Association 2021) in order to spotlight alternative research methods for territory analysis that relies on cultural information such as type of infrastructure, cultural manifestations promoted, mobilizing agendas and audiences involvement. Information regarding the characteristics and distribution of Lima's cultural spaces tell us about urban inequalities and the civil resilience in the city that provides interesting evidence for the territory comprehension and policy making.

The paper explores the foundations of procedural law, highlighting its relevance as a fundamental legal science for the social order. It begins with a critique of the doctrinal underdevelopment of procedural law in Peru, pointing out that procedural law has historically been considered secondary. He then presents several key concepts: traditional procedural law, which conceives it as a set of adjective rules subordinated to substantive law; modern procedural law, which frames it in a dialectical sphere with substantive law; and, finally, the post-publicist vision, which orients it towards social justice, understood as a fundamental right. Likewise, the author addresses concepts such as action, jurisdiction, competence and effective judicial protection, emphasizing the role of these in the impartial and peaceful resolution of conflicts, thus guaranteeing peace and justice in society. Fina...

The present study proposes the use of a segmented SIR-D mathematical model to predict the evolution of epidemiological populations of interest in the COVID-19 pandemic (Susceptible [S], Infected [I], Recovered [R] and dead [D]), information that is often key to guiding decision-making in the fight against epidemics. In order to obtain a better model calibration and a lower prediction error in the short term, we performed the model segmentation in 6 stages of periods of 14 days each. At each stage, the epidemiological that define the system of equations are empirically estimated by linear regression of the epidemiological surveillance data that the Peruvian Ministry of Health collects and reports daily. This strategy showed better model calibration compared to an unsegmented SIR-D model.

“The Principles of Phenomenology and the Phenomenology of the Inapparent. Aspects of the Method in the Philosophies of Michel Henry and Jean-Luc Marion”. This article studies the developments made by M. Henry and J.-L. Marion regarding the principles of phenomenology, their number and function. In order to accomplish this, we will review the arguments that lead these authors to rethink the relationship of these principles and sustain the authors’ proposal of increasing its number. Finally, we will analyze the maxim “to the things themselves” as a phenomenological quintessence, in order to discover the keys it provides for a phenomenology of the inapparent and its consequent expansion of the phenomena studied by phenomenology.
