The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between managerial competencies and change management of Institutes of Higher Technological Public Education, La Libertad Region, 2020. Methodology, basic type research, quantitative approach, non-experimental design, hypothetical-deductive method, a stratified probability sample of 112 participants. The survey technique with high reliability was used through Cronbach's Alpha of 0.988, for change management of 0.995. Results, it was determined that Kendall's Tau-b test = 0.561 and Spearman's Rho coefficient = 0.754 (high positive relationship), with a significance level of less than 1%. This research aimed to promote the participation of a group of students of the blended course Organizational Behavior (Institute of Superior Education IDAT, Lima-Peru), from the implementation of a digital badge program in the institution’s LMS. The results showed that there was a participation percentage of 94,6%, which was higher by 61.2% compared to another course of the same group of students, and higher by 24.51% compared to the remain courses of the same period. In addition, a survey was applied to the students about their experience in this program. Further exploration of the impact of digital badge programs is required, using an experimental methodology.

Objective. To determine the relationship between the workplace environment and the onset of burnout syndrome in a group of workers from higher education institutes. Methods. Observational, descriptive, cross-sectional research with a correlational descriptive non-experimental design, for data collection two Likert-type scales were used: Palma workplace environment scale and Maslach burnout inventory. The sample consisted of 51 workers, who were selected through a non-probability convenience sampling. Results. A favorable work environment was evidenced in 49 % (25) and unfavorable in 3.9 % (2); 39.2 % (20) experienced the burnout syndrome as medium and 29.4 % (15) as low. One of the trends in public educational institutions is to establish the relationship between institutional climate and educational quality, and this is the objective of this study. A quantitative approach using a hypothetical deductive method, ordinal design, correlational descriptive design, and cross-sectional analysis allows us to obtain the results through descriptive and inferential statistical analysis using SPSS version 25. We used a sample of 24 teachers, and data collection was conducted using a survey technique and a Likert-scale questionnaire for comparison. The present research raises a problem that, although it has deserved the attention of other researchers, maintains its validity due to the particularities that characterize the different educational institutions and the responsibility that they have towards their respective communities and their role in the National educative system. The various investigations on the subject report, according to their own results, the degree of link between PEI and school management, but, considering that each Educational Institution has its own reality, the study in question always sheds new light.
