Objective. To report the progress in Peru, since June 2019, in the implementation of the World Health Organization Global Initiative for Childhood Cancer using the CureAll framework, which can be replicated in low- and middle-income countries. Methods. A mixed method was used of participatory and documentary evaluation. The participatory evaluation included stakeholders from various government institutions, nonprofit organizations, and international partners. The documentary aspect consisted of a review of data on the regulatory environment, national projects, and interventions implemented. The Ministry of Health engaged more than 150 participants to form working committees, which have developed policy and regulatory documents to strengthen care services. Results. Wild potato species hold important genes related to disease resistance, tolerance to abiotic stress, and other traits of agronomic interest; however, they remain being the least explored. This study aimed to develop an accessible and replicable R analysis workflow to explore the genetic diversity and population structure of the International Potato Center’s (CIP) wild potato germplasm collection through nonparametric approaches. We worked with single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) data from 1248 wild potato accessions, most of which had been genotyped for the first time. Avoiding commercial content while consuming media is not a new phenomenon. The theory recognizes different mechanisms to explain this behavior and the use of advertising blockers can be recognized as an active and conscious behavioral response to this type of content. It is interesting to delve into the reasons that can explain this response by the user. This article analyzes to what extent the use of these ad blocking software is related to conscious attitudes and what is the probability that certain profiles will use them more or less. The case of online news users in Spain is studied with the data from the Digital News Report 2018, which surveyed a representative sample of 2023 Spanish adults. El presente artículo científico realiza un análisis sobre los efectos de la terapia antirretroviral (TAR) en el crecimiento de los niños infectados con VIH. Para lo cual se realizó una revisión documentada sobre datos actualizados del VIH junto a la revisión de bibliografía de revistas médicas y organizaciones internacionales de salud. Como principales resultados se observó que el TAR en niños es necesario para evitar la replicación del VIH y así mejorar su calidad de vida con lo cual incluso se evita que el VIH llegue a la fase de SIDA. This study proposes and tests a model of educational quality in marketing management incorporating resource-capability variables linked to learning outcomes for students and the competitive positioning of universities. Drawing on resource-dependence theory, the study develops a comprehensive model for measuring educational quality. The hypothesised relationships in the model are tested with a sample of Spanish university teachers using a two-stage least squares regression analysis, while controlling for the possible effect of the public/private nature of the university. El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación fue determinar qué relación existía entre el nivel de conocimiento y las actitudes respecto al tema sexual en 75 adolescentes de la I.E. 7234 Las Palmeras, Villa El Salvador en base a una metodología cuantitativa básica no experimental y transversal y un muestreo por conveniencia; para ello se utilizó un cuestionario de 25 ítems para calcular el nivel de conocimientos acerca de la sexualidad y un test de 30 ítems sobre las actitudes respecto de la sexualidad en adolescentes, ambos modificados para ser usados específicamente en el estudio. La Gerencia Social busca, por definición, el bien social, y el Programa de Voluntarios de los Juegos Panamericanos buscó unirnos para lograr un objetivo común entre todos los peruanos. Los voluntarios trabajaron en diversas capacidades para lograr que los Juegos Panamericanos se desarrollen de manera efectiva y eficaz. El trabajo voluntario fue desarrollado con protocolos establecidos en todo tipo de evento olímpico, la fuerza laboral se marcó en acciones de apoyo realizado por los voluntarios permitiendo fáctica y financieramente la realización de éstos. The guapuruvu is pioneer specie by fast growing of legume family with great importance in restoration projects. The aim of the study was to assess the genetic variability of offspring of Schizolobium parahyba through quantitative genetic parameters. The progeny test was installed in a randomized block design in three replications four plants per plot with 60 progenies. Was evaluated plant height, diameter at breast height with the ages: 2, 7, 14, 20 and 66 months and the percentage of survival at 66 months. For the estimates of genetic parameters, the data were analyzed by software SELEGEN. The heritability coefficients at individual level (ĥa2) were higher by height (0.318, 0.012, 0.247, 0.390 and 0.012) compared to DBH (0.021, 0.024 and 0.015) in the 14, 20 and 66 months, respectively. Managing stakeholders is relevant for project management, as they affect project results. Likewise, the support of a Project Management Office (PMO) improves these results. This study analyzes the positive influence of stakeholder management on project results, specifically on the likelihood of concluding projects within the predicted time and cost, together with the moderating effect of PMOs. A conceptual model was validated through logistic regression, with data collected through a survey responded by 216 experienced professionals studying in graduate programs on project management. Findings indicate that stakeholder management improves project results in terms of time and cost and confirm that PMO enhances the influence of stakeholder management on these results. The study, with a non-experimental, descriptive, analytical, correlational and cross sectional approach, evaluated the environmental impacts and social externalities derived from the improvement of educational services at the Higher Pedagogical Institute. With a sample of 52 intentionally selected interviews among teaching and administrative staff and members of the local community, data were collected through surveys with a structured questionnaire, which reached a Cronbach's Alpha reliability of 0.807 for 25 items. Se analizó la información procedente de las comunidades submareales asociadas al recurso Aulacomya atra “choro” en las zonas de Leonas, Punta Coles y Chagllanto en Moquegua y Loberas en Tacna. Los muestreos de campo se realizaron en mayo, julio y diciembre 2021, en seis estaciones por área, y sus réplicas. Se utilizaron cuadrantes de 0,0625 m2 para el muestreo destructivo, se utilizó el programa estadístico PRIMER 6.0. Se identificaron 119 taxa variando ente 44 y 70 especies por periodo y zona de muestreo.
