In this paper, we have performed a closed-form calculation of the radiation pattern of a base station antenna by using Ad Hoc Bessel-Fourier expansion. Once the coordinates system is fixed, we proceed to derived the magnetic potential vector underlining the complex part which is subsequently expanded in a Bessel-Fourier series. Since the radiation intensity is proportional to the square of the polar component of electric field, we used the well-known relation vec{E} \approx \vec{\nabla}\times \vec{\nabla} \times \vec{A} It gives capabilities to apply antenna data to the resulting closed-form expression for obtaining numerical estimations of the possible exposure levels. In the current literature, there is limited evidence of the effects of teaching programming languages using two different paradigms concurrently. In this paper, we present our experience in using a multiparadigm and multiprogramming approach for an Introduction to Programming course. The multiparadigm element consisted of teaching the imperative and functional paradigms, while the multiprogramming element involved the Scheme and Python programming languages. For the multiparadigm part, the lectures were oriented to compare the similarities and differences between the functional and imperative approaches. For the multiprogramming part, we chose syntactically simple software tools that have a robust set of prebuilt functions and available libraries. How to keep students interested in a CS1 course is not new to those who teach the subject. This work describes our experience in the use of Python with its Turtle Graphic Library in a game-oriented approach that seeks to increase the interest and motivation of students. We present the assignment for branch, loops and functions: the simulation of a basic game with a spaceship that can shoot a bullet to the enemy. Our experience has shown us that students get engaged and motivate themselves with the graphical component. We have found an improvement in students' grades.

Functions and code reuse are often among the first topics that students find challenging in introductory programming courses. This paper describes the use of Lightbot to introduce students to these concepts in two post-secondary classrooms in different countries, cultural contexts, and curricula. This work suggests that Lightbot might offer an effective and engaging introduction to these concepts regardless of cultural setting. In this paper we discuss and analyze student responses.

Sensing drug substances by nanostructures are very important in accordance with the management of targeted drug delivery processes and drug substances detections. Boron nitride (BN), aluminum nitride (AlN), and gallium nitride (GaN) decorated carbon cage (BN-C, AlN-C, and GaN-C) scaffolds were assessed towards sensing the thiamazole (TMZ) drug through the wB97XD/6–31 + G* level of density functional theory (DFT) computations. The singular models were optimized and their combinations to each other were stabilized to obtain the interacting TMZ@Scaffold bimolecular complexes and their corresponding features. This work was carried out by the importance of providing insights into the nano-based drug delivery of anticancers. To this aim, a representative model of aluminum nitride (AN) nanocage scaffold and two of its boron and gallium doped forms (BAN and GAN) were investigated towards the adsorption of thiotepa (Tep) anticancer. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations were performed to evaluate the stabilized structures and their corresponding electronic features. The results indicated the contribution of N-head and S-head of Tep to interactions with each scaffold resulting six complexes; NTep@AN and STep@AN, NTep@BAN and STep@BAN, NTep@GAN and STep@GAN. The present work reports the successful synthesis of a novel Pb2+ ion-imprinted polymer (Pb-IIP) based on a rhodizonate-like selective ligand by precipitation. Three functional monomers, namely acid acrylic (ACRY), 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid (AMPSA) and allylamine (ALLY), were chosen by computer simulation using density functional theory (DFT). The materials obtained were applied for the selective removal of Pb2+ from aqueous solutions and were characterized by Fourier transform Infra-red (FTIR), scanning electronic microscopy (SEM) and flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS). Natural Language Processing deals with the understanding and generation of texts through computer programs. There are many different functionalities used in this area, but among them there are some functions that are the support of the remaining ones. These methods are related to the core processing of the morphology of the language (such as lemmatization) and automatic identification of the part-of-speech tag. Thereby, this paper describes the implementation of a basic NLP toolkit for a new language, focusing in the features mentioned before, and testing them in an own corpus built for the occasion. The obtained results exceeded the expected results and could be used for more complex tasks such as machine translation.

This article presents the inventory and analysis of two types of glyptographic expressions present in the temple Santa Ana of Yauri, capital city of Espinar province, Cusco: Masons’ marks and cruciform signs. The function of the marks is well determined as identification and accounting signs of the ashlars delivered by different stonecutters. The presence of the crosses is more intriguing because they do not seem to have an apotropaic function, and may rather be related to devotional expressions. It is evident that the Masons’ marks are older than the crosses and would have been engraved between the 17th and 18th centuries, during the construction of the original church, on whose remains the current building was built in the second half of the 19th century.
