The objective of this research is to describe and analyze the disorders of the psychic activity staff of patients with atrial fibrillation; and explain the commitment of its functional activity using the theoretical model of the personality sociobiologic (MOS) (Ortiz, 1994, 1995, 1997, 1997b, 1998, 1999, 2002). El estudio tuvo como objetivo general investigar la relación entre calidad de vida relacionada con la salud (CVRS) y apoyo social percibido en 60 hombres con cáncer de próstata que se atienden en un hospital especializado en oncología de Lima, con edades entre los 50 y 80 años (M=67.67, DE=7.98). Se utilizó el cuestionario de salud SF-36 versión 1 (Ware & Sherboune, 1992) y el Estudio de desenlaces médicos de apoyo social percibido MOS creado por Sherboune & Stewart (1991). En CVRS, se halla que tanto el componente físico como el componente mental; y las dimensiones de ambos tienen puntajes por encima de 50. Asimismo, se encuentra que los hombres en estadio clínico II presentan mayores puntajes en la dimensión de dolor corporal que los que están en estadio clínico III. El objetivo de la presente investigación es describir y analizar los trastornos de la actividad psíquica personal de pacientes posoperados de aneurisma cerebral prefrontal y explicar el compromiso de su actividad funcional mediante el modelo teórico informacional (Ortiz, 1998). Depression is a mood disorder prevalent in our country that increases vulnerability to suffer affective disorders in adulthood when it appears in childhood or adolescence, with clear implications for the psychosocial functioning. Furthermore anger-hostility brings negative health implications, and in many cases, predicts situations of violence, for it is seen as a result of poor emotional control.
