Determina si existen diferencias significativas en las seis dimensiones de la memoria verbal en niños bilingües (avanzado e incipiente) de 7, 8 y 9 años de edad según el test de memoria verbal (castellano y quechua) de Buschke y Altman, y el test de Gonzales sobre el bilingüismo, ambos adaptados para nuestro entorno. Se empleó el enfoque cuantitativo y se utilizó un diseño de carácter descriptivo-comparativo, llegando a la conclusión que sí existieron diferencias significativas en cada caso planteado. La muestra estuvo constituida por 61 niños bilingües de ambos sexos, cuya lengua materna es el quechua, a la mitad de ellos se aplicó el test en castellano y a la otra mitad una versión traducida en quechua.
