The deliverable value of this research is to propose monitoring and evaluation based on results in the registration processes of the SUM-UNMSM, considering the institutional strategic plan 2017-2019 of the UNMSM, approved by Rectoral Resolution No. 001174-R-17 of January 13, 2017, which requires a coherent political leadership and a strong technical will, the opposite is to continue with routine actions that cause dissatisfaction in services to students and parents. The objective is to propose value-based procedures in the monitoring and evaluation based on results in the enrollment processes of the SUM.

This investigation seeks to increase the competitiveness of small companies that provide maintenance services for heavy equipment by designing game del based on indicators derived from the critical processes of this service, that is, those chain processes value, leading to greater competitive ness for the company. The company under study aimed to reduce the scrap rates of each process of flexible packaging manufacturing, originated as a result of poor procedures, returned products, and observed spools and/or bales. A reduction in claims was also expected as a result of the improvement in the quality of the finished product. The reduction of scrap in each process of the plastics división led to a reduction in reprocessing and costs. This, in turn, had a positive impact on the company’s income as the provision of high quality products resulted in customer loyalty. Furthermore, processes in the areas of extrusion, printing, cutting, laminating and sealing were made more efficient. The standardization of procedures and processes improved their execution time, creating a more positive image for customers and competitors.

The research aimed to determine potential effects on the introduction of the “octagon” based consumer warning system on the consumption of processed foods that are excessive in nutrients. The research is non-experimental and cross-sectional. The survey was used as a technique, applying a questionnaire to the population aged 15 to 64 from the five most populated districts of the province of Tacna: Colonel Gregorio Albarracín, Tacna, Alto de la Alianza , Ciudad Nueva and Pocollay. Student academic performance at universities is crucial for education management systems. Many actions and decisions are made based on it, specifically the enrollment process. During enrollment, students have to decide which courses to sign up for. This research presents the rationale behind the design of a recommender system to support the enrollment process using the students’ academic performance record. The purpose of this work is to provide information on cost improvements in SMEs in the brewing sector using lean manufacturing and BPM. A simulation model was created using Arena and Bizagi, where the model was made with the provision of a small brewing company, the indicators used to measure the effectiveness of the model are: distribution cost per bottle, percentage of use of containers, lead time and OTIF, these indicators seek to provide us with the necessary data to validate the process. This work proposes a computational algorithm to convert digital files containing electrocardiogram (ECG) information into 1D signals. Many medical databases have in storage files containing ECG information that is not easy to process for computational algorithms. Digitization by the proposed method makes it possible to modernize the databases of many health centers in order to perform post-processing of the signals obtained. This method is based on applying digital signal processing techniques to images obtained from a PDF file produced by an electrocardiograph. The application of edible coatings obtainable from alternative biodegradable materials has gained attention as a promising treatment to prolong the shelf-life of fresh-cut vegetables. Thus, this work aimed to develop a biodegradable coating based on fruit and vegetable residues flour. Immersion coating strategy was studied on the quality of minimally fresh-cut carrots during refrigeration storage by means of weight loss, color variation, pH, titratable acidity and soluble solids content. Better performance was obtained for coated carrots, which exhibited a tendency to have lower whiteness index than uncoated counterparts and enhanced overall quality.
