The synthesis of Bis[1,1-diethyl-benzoylthioureathe]lead(II)complex, Pb[PhCONCSNEt2]2 and has been characterized by elementary analysis and IR spectra; the complex has a global formula C24H30ON2S2Pb with number of coordination 4; as well as, binding is double-toothed, coordinating by oxygen and sulphur. In the aquo-dioxane system, has been determined the acid constan! of 1, 1-diethyl-3-benzoylthioureathe ligand, Ka=9,31*1O^(-10), pKa=9,03 with ionic force of the dissolution μ=0.2, contributed by the ionic salt of KHN03 . The constan! of stability of the Bis[1, 1-diethylbenzoilthioureathe]lead(II), Pb[PhCONCSN(Et)2]2, K1= 2,35x10^(-6) ; K2=1,17x10^(6), logB1=6,37; logB2=12,44 through the semi-ñ method.

Las terceras molares impactadas, comúnmente conocidas como muelas del juicio, son dientes molares que no pueden erupcionar completamente en la cavidad bucal debido a la falta de espacio o una posición desfavorable. Este fenómeno es frecuente y puede causar diversos problemas, como dolor, inflamación y riesgo de infecciones. La extracción quirúrgica es a menudo necesaria para prevenir complicaciones adicionales, como daño a los dientes circundantes o al hueso maxilar. El nuevo material energético 2,2,5,5,7,7-hexanitrooctahidro-1,4,3-(azanetriilmetano)-1-azaciclobuta[cd]pentale no o Poliazaheterociclo hexanitrado (PAHN) con estructura densa y altamente tensionada ha sido estudiado teóricamente describiéndose u11a posible via sintética comparada con materiales energéticos tradicionales. La caracterización de la molécula se ha basado en análisis espectrales del tipo RMN (13)C y (15)N, UV/Vis e Infrarrojo. Los parámetros de la performance de detonación fueron estimados mediante las ecuaciones de Kamlet-Jacobs. Los cálculos fueron llevados a cabo por medio del nuevo método semi-empírico PM6 (Parametric Model 6).

The aim of this study was to analyse the production of vicuña (Vicugna mensalis mensalis) fibre in semi-captivity and in the wild between 2008 and 2016 in the Apurímac region of Peru, as well as to determine the population of vicuñas captured and sheared and the effect of sex, age and management system in the fibre production. The production of vicuña fibre in the nine years of the study was 2 623 kg, annual average of 295.7 kg, yield of 152.76 g/vicuña and a range of variation of 54-426 g. Fibre production had an annual growth rate of 9.45% and a capture rate of 10.34%. Factorial analysis showed a significant difference (p<0.05) for the interactions of years, age, sex and simple effects.

The aim of this study was to evaluate variation in the physical and chemical properties of fermented cocoa beans with cocoa beans transfer between wooden fermentation boxes manually (M) and semi-mechanized (SM) way. Mass temperature, moisture, pH, and total acidity of the cotyledon and pulp; the total polyphenol, anthocyanin, reducing sugar, theobromine, and caffeine content in fresh, fermented, and dried beans; and percentage of fermented beans and time required to move beans during fermentation were determined. The cocoa used grew in the Pachiza district of the San Martin region of Peru. Cocoa sampling was each 0, 48, 72, 96, 120, 144, and 168 h of fermentation. The aim of this study was to determine the presence of antibodies against rotavirus in pig sera obtained from semi-technical farms in Cundinamarca, Colombia. For this, 170 samples from various age groups were processed, using the Porcine Ingezim Rotavirus (Ingenasa®) diagnostic ELISA kit. The presence of antibodies against Rotavirus was detected in 78.82% of the samples. It is concluded that the animals may have been in contact with the virus at some point in their production cycle, which suggests the need for improvements in the control and prevention of infection.

The aim of this study was to determine the type and frequency of parasites in gamitana gills (Colossoma macropomum) and to describe the associated histopathological lesions. Thirty specimens were taken from a fish farm in Iquitos, Peru. The left branchial arches were placed in Petri dishes with distilled water to observe the presence of parasites and the right arches were fixed with formalin 5% for histopathological studies. Besides, water quality of the pond was analyzed. The aim of this study was to determine the presence of the copepod Perulernaea gamitanae in juveniles of Colossoma macropomum and to relate the abundance of the parasite with the length and weight of the hosts. Thirty specimens of 29.1 ± 2.8 cm of total length and 506.3 ± 124.6 g of body weight from a semi-intensive fish farm in Maynas, Loreto (Peru) were evaluated. It was collected 120 individuals of P. gamitanae located in the buccal cavity and in the cartilages of the gills. The prevalence was 90%, the mean intensity was 4.4 parasites/infested fish, the average abundance was 4 parasites/fish, with an intensity range of 1 to 10 parasites/fish. The abundance of this copepod was related to the length and weight of the host. This is the second record of P. gamitanae in C. macropomun in fish farms in the Peruvian Amazon.

The aim of this study was to compare two antibiotic prophylaxis regimens with Clindamycin in patients under semi-retained third lower molar surgery. Third molar extractions were carried out in healthy patients who complied with the inclusion criteria, in the central clinic surgery service of San Marcos University dentistry faculty. After having performed the exodontia control appointments were programmed during 5 days post – extraction where the infection signs were evaluated through the presence or bleeding or exudates on the surgical bed. The present study aimed to detect a protein associated with acute hepatopancreatic necrosis (AHPND) by mass spectrometry, reared under semi-intensive farming in Ecuador. Sick shrimps from three farms were collected in the Bellavista area in the El Oro province. The hepatopancreas were macerated and cultured in TCBS medium and subcultured in TSA and LB broth. In the bacterial strains obtained, the proteins were extracted using a commercial kit and separated by SDS-PAGE gel migration. These were analyzed with a MALDI TOF/TOF mass spectrometer. The confirmation of the strains was performed by PCR using TUMSAT-Vp3 primers, which are specific for detecting AHPND.
