The objective from work was to evaluate the effect of diets based on Erythrina sp on the productive characteristics of the animal and its carcass. We used 32 male guinea pigs (Cavia porcellus) distributed in 4 treatments that received diets based on Erythrina sp (P) and commercial concentrated (C) feed in the proportions of 100:0% (Control), 75:25% (P75/C25), 50:50% (P50/C50) and 25:75% (P25/C75) respectively. Se cosechó la biomasa comestible mediante la poda de árboles de pisonay (Erythrina edulis) de 4, 8 y 12 meses de edad de rebrote, posteriormente se sometió al secado bajo sombra y molienda. En la harina de pisonay se determinó la composición nutricional. La digestibilidad aparente se realizó en la mezcla de harina de pisonay y maíz por el método directo en tres cuyes. Para la ganancia de peso vivo se elaboró 10 dietas, con la inclusión de 10, 20 y 30% de harina de pisonay por cada edad de rebrote y una dieta control, para la alimentación de 120 cuyes. En la composición nutricional y digestibilidad se aplicó intervalo de confianza. It was evaluated the chemical composition, ruminal degradability and parameters ruminal kinetics of dry mater (DM), crude protein (CP), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), acid detergent fiber (ADF), hemicellulose (HEM) and cellulose (CEL) at 120 and 365 days regrowth of the pisonay.             The aim of this study was to analyse the production of vicuña (Vicugna mensalis mensalis) fibre in semi-captivity and in the wild between 2008 and 2016 in the Apurímac region of Peru, as well as to determine the population of vicuñas captured and sheared and the effect of sex, age and management system in the fibre production. The production of vicuña fibre in the nine years of the study was 2 623 kg, annual average of 295.7 kg, yield of 152.76 g/vicuña and a range of variation of 54-426 g. Fibre production had an annual growth rate of 9.45% and a capture rate of 10.34%. Factorial analysis showed a significant difference (p<0.05) for the interactions of years, age, sex and simple effects.
