El presente estudio de investigación fue de tipo cuantitativo, de corte longitudinal y comparativo se trabajó dividiendo a la muestra en un grupo control (n°=20) y un grupo experimental (n°=20). Los resultados denotan en la pre test un 90% (18) presentan un conocimiento medio y un solo 10% (2) conocimiento bajo, mientras que en el post test de evaluación el 100% (20) los padres presentan un conocimiento alto, confirmando que el programa educativo de enfermería es efectivo en la variación del conocimiento. Introduction: Physical inactivity among secondary school teachers increases cardiovascular and metabolic risks, highlighting the need for effective intervention strategies. Objective: To compare changes in body composition, lipid profile, and blood pressure following a physical exercise and nutritional education program. Introduction: The prevalence of cardiovascular risk factors such as overweight, dyslipidemia, hypertension (HTN) and diabetes mellitus (DM2) has increased in recent decades, so there are multiple programs to reduce this prevalence. Objective: To determine the impact of the Articulated Nutritional Program (PAN) on chronic malnutrition in children under five years of age, its correlation with the PAN’s budget execution, and the prevalence of chronic malnutrition at the Dirección Regional de Salud (DIRESA) Callao, 2009-2015. Materials and methods: A quantitative, qualitative, observational, ecological, correlational, longitudinal and retrospective study was carried out. The objective of the article is to evaluate the impact of the Qali Warma school feeding program on the nutritional status of children in Peru. Using the 2016-2019 Family Health Demographic Survey, nutrition, sociodemographic and health indicators were compared. An OLS regression model was fitted with fixed effects associated with nutritional status. The Qali Warma program achieved a reduction of anemia by 17.1%: high levels of mothers’ education, sufficient number of prenatal visits, growth controls and continuous participation in the program managed to reduce anemia significantly equally in all regions (Coast, Mountains, and Jungle).

Objective: To identify the profile and perception of dietary supplement users in the population of Lima, Arequipa and Trujillo, Peru. Materials and methods: An analytical cross-sectional study conducted with subjects over 18 years of age residing in the cities of Lima, Arequipa and Trujillo, Peru. The study was performed in two steps. In the first step, personal interviews were held using structured and standardized surveys. In the second step, a structured survey was designed with open and closed questions related to the purchasing and consumption habits of dietary supplements.
