The use of Artificial Intelligence algorithms is not limited, as is sometimes assumed, to effective procedures; the use of this vocabulary raises several conceptions, interpretations and problems. In order not to get distracted in this linguistic labyrinth, we have taken a position on a very common characterization in the psychological sense that consists of conceiving it as a capacity possessed by certain organisms/mechanisms to adapt to new situations using for this purpose the knowledge acquired in the course. . from previous adaptation processes. The emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly integrated into society and is generally used to make timely decisions that affect society and therefore people, in different areas. In the development of AI algorithms, systemic and repeatable errors can occur in a computer system that create unfair results, such as privileging a...

International trade fairs are an international marketing instrument usually used by the exporting companies. Despite the benefits of international trade fairs, Peruvian exporting companies have a limited participation as exhibitors in them. There is no evidence to show how Peruvian exhibitors assessed their participation in international trade fairs. The main objective of the study is to analyze through which dimensions exhibiting companies evaluate their exhibition performance at international trade through sales results. Therefore, we decided to work with a model of trade fair performance of exhibiting companies including a dimension based on sales results. The study is quantitative and the research is correlational. The hypothetical deductive method was used and survey was determined as data collection instrument. As a result it appears that within the dimension of sales there is a st...

Products known as "Superfoods" are currently in high demand in international markets. Peru has a great variety, among them, maca, quinoa, kiwicha and others, which have attracted interest in many markets because they are natural, organic, functional and nutraceutical products. Peru endorses them in order to promote the biocommerce of the "Superfoods Peru", combined with activities of organic certification, fair trade and associativity. They are fundamental parts for the development of companies formed by communities, that obtain economic benefits with improved quality of life for families and communities. PROMACA works with this model where it implements these organic agricultural practices, promotes specialization, fair trade, innovation and associativity among members, thus generating a greater benefit for those involved in the chain, for customers and the ecosystem.

This work explores social and commercial alternative practices in a city located in a Pampean region heavily influenced by the agribusiness model. Its economy revolves around agriculture and livestock, relying heavily on external agricultural inputs for primary production. Using development anthropology and a sociology approach, this work positions the territorial space of the Agroecological Four Seasons Fair in Balcarce, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, as a generator of knowledge interfaces. This approach prioritizes the actors and their creative abilities in shaping courses of action and questions the idea that capital is the driving force. The focus is on the regeneration of socio-material resources from actors’ practices. Through the life stories and experiences of the actors, particularly the vendors, the aim is to understand the network of knowledge, including interactions with State...

Nowadays, datasets are an essential asset used to train, validate, and test stress detection systems based on machine learning. In this paper, we used two sets of FAIR metrics for evaluating five public datasets for stress detection. Results indicate that all these datasets comply to some extent with the (F)indable, (A)ccessible, and (R)eusable principles, but none with the (I)nteroperable principle these findings contribute to raising awareness on (i) the need for the FAIRness development and improvement of stress datasets, and (ii) the importance of promoting open science in the affective computing community. © 2020 IEEE.

Introduction: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are practices and procedures, their application is mandatory for establishments that produce, handle and sell food. Compliance with them avoids Foodborne Diseases (ETAS) guaranteeing health. The sale of food on public roads is a traditional practice, it represents a risk when GMPs are not applied. The objectives were to evaluate knowledge about GMP, investigate the application, and analyze the relationship between knowledge and the application of GMP. Methods: descriptive-correlational, cross-sectional study. The sample consisted of 20 individuals in charge of the 20 stalls at the Simoca Fair, with prior informed consent. The information was collected through a previous pilot test survey and a checklist in 2018. Results: People between 20 and 29 years of age, with complete primary and secondary education, predominated. Regarding the degree...

From research, the question is in rethinking and changing the ways of approaching and structuring our objects of study. Worth the same for the analysis of the holidays. In this way, attention should be paid not only to differences, distinctions and differences in the plurality of cultures coexisting in a given social formation, but also precisely on the basis of these distinctions (of class, of groups, of ethnic groups, of age, of sex, etc.) allow us to think in different scales, the construction of similarities, convergences, borders and differential identities within a class structure.

“Fair trade initiatives represent an essential support for the scarce opportunities that have arisen in the agricultural sector, as they cover various areas that contribute to increasing good trade practices. It is essential to highlight the contribution of fair trade in urban and rural areas, as it becomes a valuable incentive for differentiation. The main objective of this study was to determine how Fair Trade is applied in the socioeconomic and ecological sphere in an association of sustainable agricultural producers in the Peruvian jungle. This is quantitative research with a non-experimental crosssectional design. The survey technique was used, and a questionnaire was applied to 99 agricultural producers in the Amazon region of northern Peru, because it would help to analyze the new challenges of fair trade. In addition, data analysis and processing was carried out with Microsoft ...

The traditional International Taxation standards do not grant a fair corporate tax system, especially in the case of multinational groups operating in a global scenario. The crisis of the principle of global taxation as well as tax competition between tax jurisdictions, provide opportunities for tax planning in the hands of these taxpayers. OECD BEPS Action Plan and similar proposals launched by the European Union, mean some significant steps in this direction, but the fairness of the system is still a pending question and a new benchmark becomes necessary in order to go beyond the domestic scope of the ability to pay principle.
