El estudio realizado pretende analizar el impacto de la inversión pública, los gastos no financieros del gobierno y la tasa de desempleo con relación al sector educación con efectos en los salarios promedios del Perú. Para ello, se emplea las series Salario Promedio (s), Gastos no financieros del Gobierno General (gg), Inversión en Sector Educación (ip) y Tasa de Desempleo (u), durante el periodo 2016-2022. La selección de estas variables está alineada a estudios empíricos similares de otros países donde se encontró evidencia del impacto de la inversión pública en educación utilizando distintos métodos científicos. Estas mujeres representan los fenómenos sociales de las shengnü y las parejas dinks respectivamente, por lo que enfrentan obstáculos y presiones sociales durante el transcurso de la serie. Liberal democracy is currently experiencing a detachment from the citizenry, of which populism is a part, a phenomenon that is especially present in Latin American countries. However, the thesis that populism characterizes politics in Latin America still needs micro studies in specific countries. In this article, an operational definition of populism is offered, an analysis code is proposed that includes the main characteristics of this phenomenon and is applied to the spots of the candidates who reached the second and final round in the last two presidential elections of 2015 and 2019 in Guatemala. The results confirm the presence of populism in the spots, but the absence of some of the features leads to suggesting campaigns of mitigated populism. At the same time, not all candidates resort to it with the same intensity.

InfluenzaAviruses are often present in environmental and clinical samples at concentrations below the limit of detection (LOD) of molecular diagnostics. Here we report an integrated microfluidic preconcentration and nucleic amplification system (μFPNAS) which enables both preconcentration of influenza A virus H1N1 (H1N1) and amplification of its viral RNA, thereby lowering LOD for H1N1. H1N1 virus particles were first magnetically preconcentrated using magnetic nanoparticles conjugated with an antibody specific for the virus. Their isolated RNA was amplified to cDNA through thermocycling in a trapezoidal chamber of the μFPNAS. A detection limit as low as 100 TCID50 (50% tissue culture infective dose) in saliva can be obtained within 2 hours. Early childhood enteric infections have adverse impacts on child growth and can inhibit normal mucosal responses to oral vaccines, two critical components of environmental enteropathy. To evaluate the role of indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase 1 (IDO1) activity and its relationship with these outcomes, we measured tryptophan and the kynurenine–tryptophan ratio (KTR) in two longitudinal birth cohorts with a high prevalence of stunting. Children in rural Peru and Tanzania (N = 494) contributed 1,251 plasma samples at 3, 7, 15, and 24 months of age and monthly anthropometrics from 0 to 36 months of age. Tryptophan concentrations were directly associated with linear growth from 1 to 8 months after biomarker assessment. We compared the efficacy and safety of pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy with placebo plus chemotherapy in participants with locally advanced or metastatic HER2-negative gastric or gastro-esophageal junction adenocarcinoma. Describes the experience of the CRONICAS Centre of Excellence in Chronic Diseases, based at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru, as a case study for fostering meaningful and sustainable partnerships for international collaborative research. In defiant contexts, partnerships require to be nurtured and sustained. Acknowledging that all partnerships are not and should not be the same, we also need to learn from the evolution of such relationships, its key successes, hurdles and failures to contribute to the promotion of a culture of global solidarity where mutual goals, mutual gains, as well as mutual responsibilities are the norm.
