This article deals with the effect of the Harmonic Mind Maps (HMM) in the comprehension of narrative texts of university students. To achieve this purpose, a quasi-experimental research was carried out within the quantitative approach. From a population of 1500 students belonging to the I Semester of university, a sample of 83 students was taken, and they were divided into two groups: one of control (43) and the other one experimental (40). For the collection of data, adaptations of the PISA Test, 2015 were used. After the application of the HMM, it is concluded that its use positively influences the comprehension of narrative texts.

ResumenEl presente artículo de investigación pretende asediar la noción de utopía posible en la novela Los aventureros de la quimera de Roland Forgues, para lo cual se desarrolla una aproximación interpretativa de la novela, basándose en los ejes de utopía desarrollados por el autor con resonancias sobre todo en Arguedas y Mariátegui. This research aimed to determine the influence of Harmonic Mind Maps (HMM) as a metacognitive strategy in reading comprehension in university students. For this, 310 undergraduate students from the Faculty of Education of the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM in spanish) were worked during the 2nd semester of 2019. The methodology was framed within the quantitative approach and the deductive hypothetical method was followed. Therefore, its design was quasi-experimental. The information was collected through the 2015 CLUni Test. The results showed that the use of MMA as a metacognitive strategy has a positive and significant impact on improving the reading comprehension of university students.

The present research work is about the representation of the total novel in Conversation in the Cathedral of Mario Vargas Llosa through the notions of oppositions and brittle realities. For this, the category of “broken glass” is proposed to understand a little better the fact that the destruction of cultural schemes is done by way of partitioning more or less visible pieces. The main objective of the research was to determine the differences in the spatial notion in 5-year old children of a public educational institution and a private educational institution. The study refers to the notions of space in the framework of a constructive and relational process with its environment. It is a quantitative methodology, non-experimental design, comparative and transactional descriptive level. We worked with a sample of 105 5-year-old children using an observation guide as a data collection instrument that was duly validated and has high reliability. After data collection and statistical analysis, it is concluded that there are differences in the spatial notion in 5-year-old children of a Public Educational Institution and a Private Educational Institution, Lima - 2019. Cognitive demand in mathematics is crucial for addressing problem solving, learning geometry, statistics, and other disciplines that are exercised when students face complex tasks, which start from school to univerity. However, no activity developed in the classroom, based on activities anchored in emotional stages and affectivity that develops student commitment to mathematics, has been studied by educational science in this field. For this reason, the research proposed to increase the skills to develop tasks of high cognitive demand in mathematics in a sample of 335 primary school students from public and private schools in Peru. Mind maps are usually employed by teachers from all the educational levels as powerful learning strategies. This use enables important pedagogic achievements, but they do not exceed their maximum level, due to the dogmatic use of Tony Buzan's mind map (1996). Situation that would be different if it were entirely internalized, understand and applied. Precisely for that reason, the triarchic theory of intelligence developed by Rober Sternberg (1985) allows students to make decisions in several difficult situations with the suitable use of techniques and orientations in the development of the same intelligence. The research aimed to establish whether there was a relationship between visual perception and logical thinking in children of 5 years of an Educational Institution. It was carried out from the quantitative approach, non-experimental design, correlational level and cross section. The sample was 80 students from the 5-year classrooms of an educational institution in San Martín de Porres (S.M.P). For the data collection, the Frostig Test (1963) and the pre-calculus test of Milicic and Schmidt (1995) were applied. The results obtained showed that visual perception has a high (0.750) and significant (p <0.01) correlation with logical thinking in an educational institution of S.M.P. Therefore, it was found that there is a high and significant relationship between visual perception and logical thinking in children of 5 years of an educational institution.
