El concepto de competencia es de uso frecuente en la enseñanza de las lenguas, tanto nativas como extranjeras. Se busca desarrollar orgánicamente cuatro competencias lingüísticas básicas: hablar, escribir, escuchar y leer. El Ministerio de Educación ha venido usando intensamente el concepto de competencia para todo tipo de aprendizaje y no sólo con respecto al aprendizaje de las lenguas. Empero su conceptualización adolece de serias limitaciones que lo hace prácticamente inaplicable para el caso del aprendizaje de competencias. Proponemos en el presente artículo un modelo posible de desarrollo de competencias para el caso específico de la enseñanza de la lengua inglesa.

Trata acerca del pensamiento crítico. Una de las capacidades humanas más apreciada de ser lograda en los educandos, de acuerdo con todo educador, sin duda alguna. Se examina el pensamiento crítico tanto como capacidad, así mismo como actitud, y su relación con rendimiento académico en una muestra aleatoria de estudiantes de la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. La relación entre la capacidad crítica y la actitud crítica con el rendimiento académico se determina con el estadístico de correlación. Por hipó tesis estamos suponiendo que, a mayor capacidad crítica y a mayor actitud crítica, mayor el rendimiento académico entre los estudiantes.

The current research, titled "Organizational Climate and Teacher Performance at the Manuel Seoane Corrales Educational Institution", had as its main objective to examine the relationship between the organizational environment and teacher performance. To achieve this purpose, a cross-sectional correlational design research approach was chosen. Two questionnaires were used as data collection instruments, one corresponding to each variable under study. This study responds to the attempt to establish the degree of relationship that exists between learning strategies with the understanding of written texts of the English language in the students of the Language Center of a Private University of Lima-North-2019. This research is non-experimental, descriptive and correlational design. It was carried out with a sample of 20 students from the Language Center. For data collection, a test questionnaire was applied per variable, which was previously validated according to the objectives of the study. The results indicate the existence of a significant correlation between learning strategies and reading comprehension, the significance value obtained being r=7,96, (p-valor <0.05). Concluding that there is a significant relationship between the variables learning strategies and comprehension of written texts of the English language.

Uno de los temas importantes en toda organización es su cultura y en este estudio, en relación al desempeño docente en una unidad educativa en San Juan de Lurigancho. Para ello una investigación científica con enfoque cuantitativo, método hipotético deductivo, corte transversal, nivel ordinal, se realizó en una muestra de 40 docentes de la IE N.116 “Abraham Valdelomar”, con un diseño no experimental correlacional descriptivo. One of the trends in public educational institutions is to establish the relationship between institutional climate and educational quality, and this is the objective of this study. A quantitative approach using a hypothetical deductive method, ordinal design, correlational descriptive design, and cross-sectional analysis allows us to obtain the results through descriptive and inferential statistical analysis using SPSS version 25. We used a sample of 24 teachers, and data collection was conducted using a survey technique and a Likert-scale questionnaire for comparison.
