This study examines the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) with Project Production Management (PPM) and Integrated Concurrent Engineering (ICE) under the Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) framework to address chronic inefficiencies in road infrastructure projects in Peru. Focusing on a 93 km road project in Puno, the research demonstrates that the combined VDC approach leads to significant improvements in project management. Key findings include a 25% reduction in project delays and a 15% decrease in overall project costs compared to traditional management methods. The implementation of VDC also resulted in a 90% reduction in design conflicts and a 95% improvement in the resolution of construction observations. This study focused on evaluating the effect of mediating technologies on post-pandemic educational processes, emphasizing their essential role in enhancing interaction and cooperation between teachers and students. Although their relevance is evident, challenges persist in terms of access, quality, and evaluation of technological educational initiatives. Visually impaired people experience different accessibility barriers when they want to learn a second language through virtual classes. In addition to this, Screen Readers often have a high learning curve, plus they are not optimized for reading different languages at the same time. For this reason, it was decided to design the model of a Learning Management System (LMS) with a minimalist and accessible design and with an integrated voice assistant. As a result, it was obtained that the proposed solution was more efficient and effective in providing support to the process of teaching foreign languages in contrast to the methodology currently used.

The creation of a Virtual Lab, integrated and interactive software, to perform histogram-based binarization of gray scaled images is reported. In an attempt to optimize the binarization the developed virtual lab introduces a Heuristic Binarization Threshold. At processing time, the module extracts the histogram of the input gray scaled image, and then a Heuristic Threshold is calculated by taking the weighted average of the foreground grey levels of the image. Next those pixels in input image whose grey levels are above this threshold are highlighted. Digital education has transformed the teaching-learning processes and mainly the teaching role. Indeed, its mission has evolved from being a builder, selector, and transmitter of knowledge to being a companion, mediator, and motivator in the construction of knowledge. In this sense, the research analyzes the digital learning strategies applied by the teacher in virtual educational environments. For this purpose, a quantitative and qualitative study was carried out on a group of 30 participating teachers who perfected their digital skills and socialized these in their educational field. The results show considerable appreciation of digital educational resources as a fundamental part of their digital strategies, as well as teaching skills and professional training. Finally, the research determined a high adaptation and integration of digital procedures to management and teaching work.
