The objective was to evaluate the effect of the application of the GeoGebra software on the problem-solving skills of two-dimensional geometric figures in a sample of 53 university students distributed in two groups (control -experimental) evaluated in two moments: before and after the intervention. . Parametric tests were used to compare independent and related pairs and nonparametric tests were used to compare between classification levels. The results showed that the post-test experimental group was the one that presented the best performance, demonstrating that the use of GeoGebra software improved the solving skills of this type of mathematical problems, promoting collaborative work, social-student integration and improvement of the classroom climate. It is recommended to extend the use of this tool with other applications that help the teaching-learning process.

La investigación estudia el efecto de un programa de estimulación en la memoria auditiva inmediata, la comprensión lectora y la resolución de problemas en un grupo de alumnos de segundo grado de educación primaria. En su realización se empleó el método experimental con un diseño cuasi experimental con grupo control. Se trabajó con 52 niños de ambos sexos, de segundo grado de primaria, quienes conformaron dos grupos, uno experimental y otro de control. This research is descriptive ex post facto. In this it was proposed to determine the effects of Ethnomathematics that was applied as a strategy in two samples of 30 children with an average of 7.5 years in the districts of San Juan de Miraflores and Rimac, the start and end of the 2013. They are attending same classrooms where training programs were implemented in developing strategies for mathematics. In turn, we sought to describe the levels of achievement of this troubleshooting. Highest score was determined in the sample of San Juan de Miraflores at the beginning of the investigation. At the end it was observed differences were not signif¬icant (p < 0.01). 50% of subjects reached this level of achievement in solving problems, and 15% reached the process level by the end of the application of this strategy.

Recent international evaluations regarding educational level have revealed that Peru is in the rankings of countries with the lowest performance in various subjects, including mathematics. The Polya method is presented as a solution to this serious situation, which assures that if its four steps are considered, better results will be obtained than the traditional method of teaching mathematics. The study addressed the difficulties faced by fourth-cycle primary school students in public educational institutions in the district of Ccatca, Cusco region, in solving mathematical problems. These difficulties were attributed to the limited use of effective strategies and heuristic techniques by teachers. The main objective is to analyze the impact of applying these strategies on student performance and to propose a pedagogical model based on empirical evidence. A heuristic strategy was applied in an applied study with a pre-experimental design, involving 131 students. En educación básica regular, la mayoría de estudiantes evidencian dificultades para desarrollar sus competencias matemáticas, sobre todo en educación secundaria. En este marco situacional se llevó a cabo una investigación con el objetivo de proponer un programa educativo basado en la herramienta digital GeoGebra para la mejora de la resolución de problemas de forma, movimiento y localización. Se utilizó el diseño propositivo descriptivo no experimental con prueba diagnóstica a una muestra de 24 estudiantes del VII ciclo de educación básica regular, seleccionado mediante muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Pollution and environmental deterioration have become the biggest problems in the contemporary world and constitute the thematic reference to be addressed by the educational field. The objective of the research was to propose an educational program to improve environmental awareness in children at the initial level. The research studies the effect of a stimulation program in the immediate auditory memory, reading comprehension and problem solving in a group of second graders primary education in their implementation the experimental method was employed with a quasi- experimental design with group control. In the teaching of formative research a series of subjective constructions about their understanding and transcendence are raised. This situation encourages the determination of the meanings assigned to their pedagogical implementation in teacher training.
