The study was conducted in a State Educational Institution of the Constitutional Province of Callao, Peru. Type pre experimental with one group pre and posttest, aimed to determine the improvement of Inferential Reading Skills - HIL, through the design and implementation of a program of Iconic method based on experimental evidence in the study of understanding and learning (Estaún, 1998; Monge, 1992; Rengifo and Marulanda, 2007), in a sample of 93 students averaging between eight and nine years old. An instrument being elaborated based on the theories of Goodman (2002) and Inga (2009); to measure these skills. The implementation of the program was more effective in the ability to solve problems.

The research is a comparative method, transversal. It had the pur¬pose to compare the goals and motivations in choosing a profes¬sional career in 347 students of university first terms in Kinder¬garten Education, Primary Education, and Languages, all of them in a range of 20 to 22 years old. An instrument with three versions was elaborated, based on the theoretical framework proposed by Gámez y Marrero (2003). The evidences confirm significant dif¬ferences in the goals and motivations; these differences are more noticeable between students of the careers of Primary Education and Languages (sig. <.001), and between Kindergarten Education and Languages (sig.<.001). Finally, the goals and motivations were largely differentiated according to the gender (sig.<. 005), being the average for women (prom.=139.3/sig.<.005).

The present study aims at adapting psychometric Assessment Battery Revised Readers Processes (PROLEC-R). The Battery applied linguistics and pictographically adapted to a group of 504 students from 14 educational institutions in metropolitan Lima, 7 from private institutions and 7 public institutions of both sexes. Such analysis indicated that scores of PROLEC-R adapted to be reliable, calculated by the method of internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha) for sub test and total. Also validates evidence of the content (expert opinion), criterion (concurrent validity) and construct (confirmatory factor analysis).

The simple descriptive study, in which an instrument was developed – Reading comprehension test by levels, used to quantitatively measure the levels proposed by Sánchez; Romero; Arriola and Romero (2007) and Barrett (in Calsin, 2006) a literal level, re organizational and inferential. This instrument was subjected to evaluation of inter judges, which method was used to calculate the reliability index, this being 0.85. The research was conducted in the 2nd grade of Elementary School in a Public Educational Institution in the district of Comas (Lima – Perú), in a probability sample of 102 students that averaged 7.42 years old. For methodological purposes, the objective was to determine the reading comprehension levels. The largest percentage of the sample achieved the literal and re organizational understanding at a high level.

This paper discusses the pricing of arithmetic Asian options when the underlying stock follows the constant elasticity of variance (CEV) process. We build a binomial tree method to estimate the CEV process and use it to price arithmetic Asian options. We find that the binomial tree method for the lognormal case can effectively solve the computational problems arising from the inherent complexities of arithmetic Asian options when the stock price follows CEV process. We present numerical results to demonstrate the validity and the convergence of the approach for the different parameter values set in CEV process.

Objective: To verify the effectiveness of the technological resource Aula Digital (Digital lassroom) in the development of the competency “reading various types of texts” in boys and girls of the 4th cycle at Institución Educativa N.º 32140 Antonio Brack Egg in Ambo (Peru), 2022. Methods: This study followed a quantitative approach and employed a quasiexperimental design. The population consisted of 54 students from the educational institution. A checklist was used to evaluate the pretest and posttest, and Student’s t-test was applied for statistical analysis. Results: Findings indicatedthat in both the experimental and control groups, 19.9% responded “yes” and 80.1% responded “no,” with a difference of 60.2% between the groups. Objective. To improve reading comprehension with the implementation of conceptual maps in students of Educative Institution N° 32011 Hermilio Valdizan, Huanuco. Methods. Quasi-experimental design was used, after an intentional non-probability sampling was carried out in 33 students from 6th grade “C”, our experimental group. 34 students from 6th grade “A”, our control group. Results. Regarding the level of reading comprehension of students under study. In the experimental group, before the intervention, 66.7 % were in process, 30.3 % at the beginning and 3 % had a satisfactory level. Objective. To determine the influence of digital tools on the development of reading comprehension in students of the second grade of secondary level, of the Ramón Castilla School of the district of Chuschi, in the remote education modality, 2020. Methods. The research was developed from the quantitative, explanatory type and experimental design in its quasi-experimental aspect. The sample, extracted from an intentional non-probabilistic sample, was made up of 32 students from sections A and B. The instrument used to collect the data consisted of a standardized test. Se trató de establecer sí, a un mayor nivel de desarrollo del pensamiento crítico corresponde también mayor capacidad para resolver problemas y mayor nivel de comprensión lectora en ingresantes a la universidad. Se empleó el método descriptivo, con diseño descriptivo correlacional. Background: the existence of specific effects of emotion on text comprehension in adults has been experimentally verified. However, there is no information regarding adolescents, which is relevant for the design of interventions. Objective: this research study aims to assess whether dimensionallyconceptualized emotional states (valence, arousal and dominance) affect the comprehension and retrieval of written texts in adolescents. Method: following instrument validation, three experiments (n = 468) were performed. In this research a generalized inversion method was applied to obtain the epicenter of seismic events of local and regional origin from the readings of arrival time of P and S phases of at least 4 seismic stations. The initial condition of the model is obtained from the location of the seismic station closest to the epicenter, the initial origin time is obtained from the Wadati diagram and the initial depth is set up to 33 km for each case. We suppose a homogeneous velocity model of the P wave of 7.6 km/s (obtained from the inversion process). From the analysis of eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the system matrix (GTG), we deduce that the most stable parameter is the origin time and the most unstable parameter is the focal depth. The linearized model converges quickly to the solution.

Gadamer's phenomenological-hermeneutic method has been used in various disciplines for the analysis and interpretation of texts. This article explores Gadamer's phenomenological-hermeneutic method and its application in the approach of the circle of understanding. Contributions such as the fusion of horizons and the importance of tradition in interpretation are presented. The objective is to identify some contributions that contribute to enriching the approach of the circle of understanding by offering conceptual and methodological tools to analyze and intervene in the processes of reading and interpreting texts.
