Gadamer's phenomenological-hermeneutic method has been used in various disciplines for the analysis and interpretation of texts. This article explores Gadamer's phenomenological-hermeneutic method and its application in the approach of the circle of understanding. Contributions such as the fusion of horizons and the importance of tradition in interpretation are presented. The objective is to identify some contributions that contribute to enriching the approach of the circle of understanding by offering conceptual and methodological tools to analyze and intervene in the processes of reading and interpreting texts.

El método fenomenológico-hermenéutico de Gadamer ha sido utilizado en diversas disciplinas para el análisis e interpretación de textos. Este artículo explora el método fenomenológico-hermenéutico de Gadamer y su aplicación en el abordaje del círculo de la comprensión. Se presentan aportes como la fusión de horizontes y la importancia de la tradición en la interpretación. El objetivo es identificar algunos aportes que contribuyan a enriquecer el abordaje del círculo de la comprensión al ofrecer herramientas conceptuales y metodológicas para analizar e intervenir en los procesos de lectura e interpretación de textos provenientes de fuentes primarias con enfoque cualitativo.
