Knowledge is a conscious, intentional and individual act to learn object's qualities and is firstly referred to who knows but also to the object thing what is known. Its development has been close to human thought evolution. Epistemology, the science that studies knowledge, is based in scientific research that begins with a hypothesis exposition and develops afterwards with mathematical models to have verifiable and valid conclusions. Scientific research is an accepted and validated process for new facts or questions solutions guided to recognize principles and laws that sustain man's life in the world. It owns methods based on hypothesisdeduction/ induction complemented with statistics and calculation probabilities. Scientific researchers should know its theory and evolution because they are indispensable tools in research and its good handling will allow technical and suitable answers ...

The current epidemic crisis has put into a hard spot the robustness of the contemporary social system based on politics, science, technology and free-market. The present text shows a critical observation to the current New Normality policy from a social-philosophical vision. This policy is a regression to certain governmental phenomena for gives it continuity and imposes certain social-moral behavior using a reinvented rhetoric. State-reformism, ethopolitics and resilience are notions to serve as arguments to support this thesis. At the end, I offer a purposeful discussion about subversion and antifragility of societies as a way of proposing a political strategy against a New Normality, because the New Normality is not a change, but a policy that promises a future time but not a different socioeconomic-political space.

Most studies on media education, literacy and competence focus on basic education and teacher training; in this context, university training for communicators has not received the attention we believe it should have. Therefore, this article presents the results of a systematic exploratory review, following the PRISMA ScR model, of 55 articles published in five scientific reference databases that present empirical studies on media education in university communication courses. The results show that, since 2019, there has been an increase in interest in this subject, that the largest amount of scientific work has been published in English, that nearly half of it presents a theoretical framework on topics related to media education, that quantitative methodologies prevail in the design of studies with the survey as the main tool. Finally, based on the analysis of the objects of study of the...
