The research was developed in order to verify the influence of the application of the ethnographic research proposal in the development of research competence in university students. Investigation of mixed type and sequential explanatory design (DEXPLIS). The population consisted of 38 students and the sample of 15 students. The estimation scale and the group interview guide were used as instruments. The hypothesis test was performed using the Wilcoxon statistician. It is concluded that the application of the ethnographic research proposal significantly influences the development of research competence in university students.

El propósito de esta investigación es describir el perfil investigador de los profesores universitarios en Ecuador, en función de los niveles de producción de investigación, de factores individuales (nivel de calificación académica y período de permanencia en la institución) y factores institucionales (tiempo invertido en investigación). Se aplicó el análisis de clusters a una muestra de diferentes niveles de producción científica: (1) profesores, (2) estrellas, (3) alto potencial, (4) bajo potencial y, (5) infrautilizado. Paradigms, understood as perspectives, are decisive in shaping scientific activity. In this sense, one of the main reasons for the lack of intellectual institutionalization of the field of communication (Peters, 2007; Lacasa, 2017) may be the absence of disciplinary memory (Pooley, 2020) and of discussion of research perspectives. The aim of this study is to offer a profile detector of the falsifications that could be done to the MMPI-2. We propose minimal changes in the reversed order of the direct punctuations of L y K and the addition of four new specific scales: Odecp, Ds-r, S, F-K. Two groups were used: a control group, composed by normal and clinical subgroups who answered to the MMPI-2 according to standard procedure, and an experimental group, composed by three subgroups with different answer instructions: to give a good image, a bad image or an inconsistent answer. The result is a profile with the proposed scales of validity that initially allow the detection of different falsifications by the subjects when answering the MMPI-2 test.

Nowadays, private universities of our country are being questioned because of the lack of knowledge production as a result of scarce scientific research works, and this is due to various factors, such as: low budget for this purpose, specialized laboratories without the necessary equipment, bibliographic information not current, untrained professors in science and technology, professors who teach investigation without the research training, no communication with society to identify lacks and needs, among others. With the intention of solving this problem, in this research a model of knowledge management is proposed for research in private universities in Huánuco Region, to allow analyzing the processes of creation and transfer of knowledge, then, determine the key factors of success; promoting interdependence between the intellectual capital and knowledge management process.

Political science literature has focused itself mostly on the «pro-democracy» role of political parties, identifying them as essential instruments for representation. We agree, but we believe this is not the only aspect to focus on. Democratic parties do not only achieve power through regular elections, but they also aspire to rule within a democratic regime. In that sense, the functioning of political parties can be analyzed not only in terms of their contribution to electoral competition. In order to fulfill their democratic functions, parties need a strong constitutional order that allows them to provide two goods: the achievement of power through legalways and good governance within the Rule of Law.

The main objective of this article is to present a synthesis of the various contributions that national and foreign researchers have made to the pre-Hispanic archaeology of the Chicama Valley, located in the Department of La Libertad, Peru. Through the analysis of the archaeological literature published to date, a balance and critical evaluation of current knowledge about the occupational history of the lower and middle Chicama valley. Finally, we outline new problems and working hypotheses for future archaeological investigations of this rich valley of the Peruvian north coast.

This article highlights both the quantitative research process and its implementation to achieve the objective of identifying the level of quality in software producing mypes. The current project is aimed at students in their role as researchers, considering that one of the strategic objectives of the institutions of higher education is to promote the culture of research, look for differences in findings, obtain superior training and to be more competitive. The quantitative research process gives way to the realization of the primary methods in obtaining the characterization of software producing mypes in Lima. This allows one to identify the quality of their software.

We present Lakatos’s epistemological approach concerning scientific research programs regarding alpha beta method. We focus on Economic Science, for that we propose a set of auxiliary assumptions for expressing the lakatosian notions: hard core (as a finite set of some similar α propositions of some theories) and protective belt (propositions a); heuristics and auxiliary assumptions incorporated allow us to operationalize a scientific research program therefore can be empirically tested.

The goal of this essay is to share the project proposal about the use of the action research approach in the degree completion award process for students in thePre-school and Primary Education specialization in a private higher education institution of Lima. This is done within the framework of the implementationprocess for the new curriculum plan initiated in 2013. In that sense, we highlightthe characteristics of this type of research that have been embodied in practice, theprocess followed for its application, as well as achievements, difficulties and theaspects that we still need to work out. Lastly, some thoughts are proposed to consolidate this type of research in the academic and organizational structure of thisinstitution, which could prove useful for higher education institutions interestedin the implementation of this research approach.

This article aims to reflect on a challenging process of artistic creation of collective writing from an anthropological perspective, arising from academic research, around which a clown performance event was built. This scenic event, in turn, proceeded to be transferred from its original live performance format to an audiovisual recording format of that same performance. Esta investigación evalúa críticamente la adopción del término “clase“ por la sociología y su reprocesamiento como “análisis de clase“, un programa de investigación (PI) que floreció en la sociología angloamericana de la posguerra. This research aimed to implement a Peace Education Project (PEP) in a first-grade classroom of a primary school located in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico. The intervention promoted a set of prosocial competencies in students, teachers and families; for this universal and focused strategies were developed. A mixed approach was used, with evaluations before and after. Information was collected through participatory action-research. Some findings indicate that systematic PEPs in the classroom decrease violence and strengthen prosociability. There was a reduction in the school violence index from 1.12 to 1.10 and an increase in student prosociability from 3.34 to 3.70. The strategies favorably affected the maintenance of a school climate of cordiality, greater empathy, assertiveness, better management of emotions and an increase in friendship networks.

The aim of this article is to reflect on the methodology of legal research in Latin America. In this context, the author criticizes the traditional legal research, which has focused, especially, on the normative comparison, and not on the social reality and the purpose of the Law with the social change. Due to this, a type of dynamic legal research is proposed that analyzes the different legal manifestations with the support of interdisciplinarity, such as social sciences. For this, the author points out, it is necessary to stop conceiving the Law as an isolated phenomenon, and start to understand it as part of society; likewise, it must be valued as a tool at the service of the community. In this regard, it is important that the new legal research reflects an instrumental end that allows the Law to be a means that links to the social reality and allows social change.

This work is an argumentative essay, or, in the terms of Montero and León (2005), it is a theoretical study. Its objective is to critically propose an evaluation of the state in which psychological research is in Peru, and from this analysis, raise the potential reasons for the problematic situation and reflect on these aspects, in order to finally propose ideas for solving the problems detected. For its purpose and the kind of discourse that is managed in it, this could be useful for students or work teams that wish to conduct deeper, empirical (quantitative or qualitative) or non-empirical research, about the topic of psychological research in Peru.
