The research was conducted in order to determine the impact of education program on the knowledge and practices of solid waste management of the cleaning staff of reference Hospitals of the Puno-Peru. The study was pre experimental with pre and post test design. The sample was 44 workers determined by inclusion and exclusion criteria. The instrument used to evaluate their knowledge base was a questionnaire. As to the practices, a compliance checklist about handling solid waste by the Ministry of Health was used. The post test was applied 30 days after the application of the educational program. Data analysis was performed on a percentage basis and the testing of the hypothesis test with the Wilcoxon. “Introduction: Coastal waste increases up to four times each year, although many of them can generate sustainability if they are used as renewable resources; in this sense, the research is based on Garofalo’s STEAM proposal, adapting its urban robotic version to the educational exploration of beaches. This article discusses the various meanings attributed to the concept of research methodology, based on an analysis of the study plans and programs of three doctoral programs in education in Mexico. These programs have well-established faculty and have produced several generations of trained students. The article outlines the methodology used to analyze the curricular discourse related to the concept of research methodology, and presents findings that highlight the different interpretations given to key elements of this concept across the three programs. The results reveal nine major attributions of meaning to the concept of research methodology, with varying degrees of similarity across the three programs. El objetivo de la investigación fue conocer si el programa TALENTVEFT tiene algún efecto en el desarrollo de las inteligencias múltiples en niños. El estudio corresponde al método experimental, nivel explicativo y a un diseño cuasiexperimental de corte longitudinal. Se contó con la participación de 182 estudiantes, divididos en dos grupos: el grupo experimental y el grupo control. El grupo experimental participó en 4 sesiones de una hora durante 4 semanas (de una sesión por semana). El grupo control no participó en ningún taller realizado. The research’s objective was to find out if the TALENTVEFT program has any effect on the development of multiple intelligences in children. The study, of explanatory level, used the experimental method and a quasi-experimental design of longitudinal cut. The sample consisted of 182 students, divided into two groups: the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group participated in 4 one-hour sessions for 4 weeks (one session per week). The control group did not participate in any workshops. This article explores the reasons why low-income students, who are supported by a public scholarship program called “Beca 18”, reject this support or leave their studies during the first year of studies. Results are based on two methods: a quantitative model that compares personal and family characteristics among deserters and non-deserters, and a qualitative approach based on in-depth interviews with deserters in order to inquire about the reasons for not accepting the scholarship or early withdrawal. This article prioritizes the qualitative approach because the quantitative does not show significant differences between the two groups. The evidence indicates that the main reasons that explain the early drop-out or non-acceptance of Beca 18 are the affective factors and the lack of social integration into the new environment.

Introduction. The cardiovascular rehabilitation programs (CRP) represent an effective multidisciplinary medical-health strategy in prevention and control of cardiovascular problems. Objective. To assess the impact of a CRP carried out in the workplace, in reducing absolute cardiovascular risk in INCOR workers. Methods. An experimental study. 41 workers with different levels of cardiovascular risk were included and were evaluated before and after their participation in the CRP on their functional capacity, cardiovascular risk factors and stress levels. Objectives. To know the levels of child development and explore its relationship with socioeconomic status and maternal education. Methods. Quantitative – exploratory study done between March and August 2013. The study include information about 5859 children of 1- 24 months at the interview and their 5723 mothers (or primary caregiver), from 5620 rural homes. We applied an adapted version of Age and Stages Questionnaire ASQ-3 and a socio-demographic questionnaire. Results. Scores in the scales of communication and fine motor showed that, as age is higher, the gap in the results of the scales increases. This study had as aims to evaluate the effect of the assertive skills program for social interaction in a sample of patients with anorexia nervosa (AN) or bulimia nervosa (BN) who attended a specialized clinic in Lima. For these purposes, the research was carried out with a design of pre and posttest, in a group of 49 patients diagnosed with eating disorder, AN and BN symptoms, divided into experimental group (n = 24) and control group (n = 25). This research was comparison of user experience between the Scratch and Code.org platforms, for being used by novice program-mers. The comparison was taking into seven factors that influ-ence user experience, including usefulness, usability, desirability, findability, accessibility, credibility, and value. The research was carried out with the participation of 40 people with little or no knowledge about programming topics, the people carried out the following tasks: Register on the platform, use a sample project, create a project, program using block-based programming, explore the features and functionalities of the platform. In general, both platforms offer a good user experience for novice programmers. Finally, it is concluded that Scratch offers a better user experience, because it exceeded Code.org in 4 of the 7 factors.
