Desarrolla un programa de computadora en Quick Basic que permita el cálculo y optimización del corte y relleno de material en proyectos lineales como carreteras, canales, vías férreas, etc. El programa provee una plataforma amigable de fácil uso que permite calcular y optimizar rápidamente el material de excavación, relleno, así como el material de préstamo de canteras y eliminación de material excedente en botaderos designados.

This work verifies the instrumental characteristics of the CCD detector which is part of the UNI astronomical observatory. We measured the linearity of the CCD detector of the SBIG STXL6303E camera, along with the associated gain and readout noise. The linear response to the incident light of the detector is extremely linear (R2 =99.99%), its effective gain is 1.65 ± 0.01 e-/ADU and its readout noise is 12.2 e-. These values are in agreement with the manufacturer. We confirm that this detector is extremely precise to make measurements for astronomical purposes.

In the canned fish production program, it is very important to calculate its forecast through statistical models that minimize the error of the projections and that allow estimating the quantities to be produced. The objective of this research work is to select a forecast model for the consumption of canned fish in Peru for an industrial fishing project using time series models. Prediction models such as linear regression, time series decomposition and Winters’ method were used. The input data was the monthly domestic sales of canned fish from the years 2011 to 2014. This project aims to develop a performance evaluation model that serves as an application guide for companies with both linear and matrix structures. The project will primarily be conducted in three stages. The initial stage involves an analysis of organizational structures and an examination of various performance evaluation models and frameworks. Subsequently, in the second stage of the project, based on the findings from the analysis stage, the model proposal will be developed. Finally, in the third stage, validation will be carried out with experts to assess the feasibility of the proposal.

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to determine the impact of corporate investments in corporate social responsibility (CSR), measured by the environmental, social and government (ESG) rating, on the market valuation of a firm's stocks and to explain the regional differences in the degree of this influence. Design/methodology/approach: The empirical study uses linear and non-linear panel regression models for a panel sample of 951 firms listed in Asia, North America and Europe operating in innovative industries. Findings: The CSR score was found to be significant in terms of stock excess return on the regional level. However, this finding cannot be extrapolated to the global scale. In this work, maximum flows observed in the Paranapanema river basin are modeled by a mixture of two GEV distributions whose components correspond to the summer and winter subpopulations. The nonlinear discriminant function allowed to confirm the assumption of mixture model.The proposed model is then used to determine probabilities of exceedance and return periods associated with extreme flows, which are of fundamental importance for hydraulic projects. The results show significant differences when a mixture model is used and therefore an approach more coherent with the observed data.

The present research work consists in the development of a method where a mathematical model of a fish canning plant installation project is proposed, considering the investment, the production costs, the operating expenses, the financial statements, and as indicators for decision making, the net financial present value and internal rate of financial return. Then, the mathematical model is optimized using a non-linear programming to choose the most convenient investment alternative, then a Monte Carlo simulation is carried out in which random variables of plant and market are considered that allow the investor to estimate the minimum values and máximum that can happen in the financial indicators and finally the discussion of results.

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of occupational health and safety variables on the work performance of personnel at the Proyecto Especial Tacna (Tacna Special Project), a Peruvian public institution, during the COVID-19 pandemic. To carry out the study, a quantitative, descriptive, and correlational non-experimental design was used with a census sample, a questionnaire was applied to 42 workers in the months from July to August 2022. Public infrastructure projects in Peru face structural challenges in supply chain management, resulting in delays, cost overruns, and quality deficiencies. This study examined the extent to which supply chain resilience influences project effectiveness regarding time, cost, and quality standards. A quantitative, correlational–explanatory, non-experimental design was adopted, using surveys administered to professionals engaged in public works management. Statistical analysis included Pearson correlation, linear regression, Chi-square, ANOVA, and logistic regression. El estudio presenta un modelo preliminar para determinar la viabilidad de instalación de una planta procesadora de snacks hechos de frutos y verduras bañados con chocolate de cacao en Perú. Este producto se venderá al consumidor final en paquetes de 50 gramos, y para los compradores intermediarios en una caja embalada de 10 unidades.
