The aim of this research was to establish the relationship between phonological awareness and lexical processes in reading. This study was correlational, longitudinal and its design was not experimental. Thirty six students from a public school in the city of Lima were assessed in two stages: kinder and 2nd grade. The Phonological Awareness Assessment Test - PECO and the Lexical Processes subtests - PROLEC-R were used, both in adapted versions. The results showed that there is no significant relationship between phonological awareness and lexical processes in reading. However, there is a significant relationship between syllable identification task and word reading subtest in speed and reading skills indexes. The objective of this research is to determine the relationship between the processes that make up reading comprehension (perceptive, lexical, syntactic and semantic) and the metacognitive reading skills (planning, supervision and evaluation) in students of cycle V (5th and 6th grade of elementary school) from a private school, located in the district of Santiago de Surco, Lima (Peru). The instruments used were the Battery of Evaluation of the Reading Processes - Revised (PROLEC-R) and adapted for students of Metropolitan Lima, and the Scale of Reading Consciousness (ESCOLA). This research seeks to promote the development of reading comprehension through the application of metacognitive strategies, as well as to publicize the importance of metacognition processes at different reading levels and the usefulness of designing teaching units that meet specific learning needs. For this, a qualitative - descriptive study was carried out with students in the third and fourth grades of primary school, in which the data obtained from the application of a didactic unit were analyzed, which included questionnaires in which the use was encouraged of metacognitive strategies (previous knowledge, prediction and verification and summary). El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación es dar a conocer las estrategias conectivas para la lectura son procesos mentales (acciones específicas o técnicas), utilizado para la adquisición de conocimiento, una vez adquirida la información esta es procesada, organizada de manera efectiva clasificada pasa su comprensión y el aprendizaje, oriéntadase a resolver problemas. The simple descriptive study, in which an instrument was developed – Reading comprehension test by levels, used to quantitatively measure the levels proposed by Sánchez; Romero; Arriola and Romero (2007) and Barrett (in Calsin, 2006) a literal level, re organizational and inferential. This instrument was subjected to evaluation of inter judges, which method was used to calculate the reliability index, this being 0.85. The research was conducted in the 2nd grade of Elementary School in a Public Educational Institution in the district of Comas (Lima – Perú), in a probability sample of 102 students that averaged 7.42 years old. For methodological purposes, the objective was to determine the reading comprehension levels. The largest percentage of the sample achieved the literal and re organizational understanding at a high level.

The study was conducted in a State Educational Institution of the Constitutional Province of Callao, Peru. Type pre experimental with one group pre and posttest, aimed to determine the improvement of Inferential Reading Skills - HIL, through the design and implementation of a program of Iconic method based on experimental evidence in the study of understanding and learning (Estaún, 1998; Monge, 1992; Rengifo and Marulanda, 2007), in a sample of 93 students averaging between eight and nine years old. An instrument being elaborated based on the theories of Goodman (2002) and Inga (2009); to measure these skills. The implementation of the program was more effective in the ability to solve problems.

Este trabajo tiene como propósito difundir la Buena Práctica sobre la maratón de lectura, estrategia para fortalecer la competencia de comprensión de textos escritos y fomentar la lectura por placer en los estudiantes de la IEI N° 31756 “Ricardo Palma” de la ciudad de Cerro de Pasco, desarrollado en los años del 2015 al 2017. The work of professional sufficiency is entitled "Narrative texts to improve reading in children". Its objective is that through narrative texts and various teaching strategies, students can reach an outstanding level by understanding the text they read. The methodology used was to make predictions through the observation of what the text is about and predict the content, in order to directly imply the activation and use of previous knowledge. It was concluded that by applying narrative texts, not only academic processes but also aspects of life and daily life can be strengthened. Where, not only the child learns to decode or understand the explicit information in the text; but also to develop the ability to interpret texts and assume a position in front of them.

El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación se sintetiza en que la lectura es un proceso complejo y de mayor desarrollo cognitivo; por eso, uno de los grandes problemas que afecta, principalmente, al sector educativo, por ende, también al desarrollo del país. En ese sentido, es de mucha importancia que el Ministerio de Educación considere las estrategias específicas para revertir la problemática desde las escuelas y con el apoyo de las familias. Así como también, es necesaria la intervención de los docentes que busquen alternativas frente a esta gran dificultad con el objetivo de aportar mediante la práctica pedagógica. Por último, precisar que este trabajo de investigación, presenta algunas estrategias que permitirán brindar apoyo a los docentes sobre este tema principal que alude a cualquier campo de estudio.

El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación es mencionar que ciertas instituciones ponen parámetros y siguen una línea errada para el proceso de enseñanza, la ventaja que es nosotros somos dueños en cuanto al espacio de la enseñanza, dónde nos va a permitir formar personas responsables con el gusto de aprender la lectura. La importancia del estudio en la atención de la lectura, radica en su relación con el proceso de aprendizaje, donde cada estudiante posee distintas formas de aprender y de comprender un texto. De esta manera, el objetivo de este estudio fue analizar las estrategias didácticas para mejorar la atención del estudiante en el aprendizaje de la lectura en una escuela privada de Lima-Norte.
