After the War of the Pacific, education became crucial in addressing the lack of patriotism and the perceived “indigenous inferiority”—factors that, according to intellectual critique of the time, had led to the defeat by Chile. This article aims to analyze how the Peruvian state restructured the educational system during the period of National Reconstruction. It explores the challenges and approaches of Peruvian schooling throughout the nineteenth century. By examining the development of educational institutions up to 1879, it seeks to understand the reconstruction process in the post-war years until the late nineteenth century. Analyzing education in these periods allows us to understand its role during the foundational moments of the Republic.

In the present work are defined the steps to follow in order to determine the critical quality attributes in a manufacturing process of a pharmaceutical product. Analyzing the impact and criticality of each of the manufacturing operations in the quality of the product and defining the critical attributes to control. According to the results obtained, it was decided to apply NIR spectroscopy as an alternative to conventional methods to quickly control the critical attributes during the manufacturing process of a powder for suspension. The objective is to build the quality of the final product, controlling critical quality attributes of intermediate products in the same process by applying Process Analytical Technology (PAT).

Los cambios a que se vieron enfrentados los sistemas escolares, y las sociedades en general, a causa del COVID-19 llevaron a estos de una excepcionalidad de la pandemia a la situación de emergencia como regla general. El presente trabajo describe una experiencia de construcción curricular desarrollada por los y las trabajadoras de la educación del primer ciclo de primaria en una escuela chilena. El proceso de construcción curricular participativa se basa en la propuesta de los temas generadores de Paulo Freire, donde los procesos de construcción del contenido de los programas de estudio se basan en un tema y/o un problema de relevancia para la comunidad educativa y a los intereses de los y las estudiantes.

Social innovation is recognized by multilateral organizations as a way to cope creatively and collaboratively with social demands that are not satisfied, neither from the public nor from the private. This challenge requires management reliable relationship between actors with diverse and sometimes conflicting interests. In this sense, the social function of public relations (PR) can provide an important service to prevent resistance to social changes that involve innovation processes. Peru maintains a leading position in the world mining in connection to production and extraction of metals like copper, zinc, silver, gold among others. Geological exploration and prospecting already carried out, show us a promissory future for the above mentioned minerals and other interesting findings like nickel in millerite ore which was proved in some ore deposits of the Marañón geological complex. This occurrence allowed us to carry out metallurgical investigation, specifically hydrometallurgical processing for the Peruvian sulphide ore aimed to the development of profitable mining operations for both private sector and the Peruvian state. We showed the metallurgical test results carried out at the metallurgical engineering school related to obtaining metallic nickel plates and its by products like cement and sulphate crystals.

The concept of soundscape was incorporated in the late 1960s, from the field of acoustics and music, to address the problem of excessive noise in cities and disorderly urban planning, which has led to residential areas ‒which are supposed to be quiet‒ are juxtaposed with commercial and/or production activities that degrade the quality of hearing life. Starting in 2002, it was realized that the concept of soundscape could also be used as a tool to build a sound identity, whether to preserve historical sound environments, rescue “lost” sound activities from anthropology or create auditorily healthy zones within the cities.
