Objective: to determine the preferences of the patients in terms of age, sex and clothing of the dentists of two educational entities, public and private. Material and Methods: Basic descriptive cross-sectional study, for which the survey methodology was used by virtual means to a sample of 165 students from 8 to 25 years old divided into 3 groups, from 8 to 11 years, from 12 to 17 years and from 18 to 25 years of both sexes, photographs of 4 dental models were used: 2 women, one between 25 to 30 years old, another from 40 to 50 years old and two men of the same ages with 3 different uniforms, the processing of the data was through tables of frequencies and percentages. Violence against women by their partners continues to be a social problem linked to stereotypes and behaviors derived from patriarchal systems that normalize violent acts against this population group. However, it also continues to be a public health problem, since violence has consequences that go beyond the physical for women who are victims of violent acts. The objective of this paper is to describe nursing care strategies on violence against women. The concept of deconstruction constitutes a proposal that intends to structure a form of intellectual revolution where dominant proposals would be dismantled. El climaterio es una etapa fisiológica en la mujer que se caracteriza por una serie de cambios morfológicos, funcionales, psicológicos y emocionales de vivencias basados en el cuidado en la condición femenina. Objetivos describir y analizar las vivencias de las enfermeras basado en la teoría de Joan Scott (2009), y considerar las bases para el cuidado. This paper summarizes the clinical practice guide (CPG) for the screening and management of mild depressive episode at the first level of care in the Social Security of Peru (EsSalud). A guideline development group (GDG) was established for develop this CPG, which included clinical and methodology specialists, who formulated 06 clinical questions. Systematic searches were conducted in Pubmed and GPC repositories to answer each question, and relevant evidence was selected. The certainty of the evidence was assessed using the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluation (GRADE) methodology. In periodic work meetings, the GDG used the GRADE methodology for reviewing the evidence and for developing recommendations. At the end, this CPG formulated 07 recommendations (03 strong and 04 conditional), 28 points of good clinical practice, and 02 flow charts were formulated.

Objective: To develop and validate a methodology for determining the gap in medical professionals in outpatient care within the Rebagliati Healthcare Network of EsSalud, based on the epidemiological profile of demand. Materials and methods: A mixed-methods study was conducted analyzing 1.96 million outpatient visits between July 2022 and June 2023. Diagnoses were categorized into five age groups, selecting the 80% most frequent. A modified Delphi technique was applied with family physicians, pediatricians, internists, and geriatricians to determine the most appropriate specialty for each frequent diagnosis. In this article we address the issue of care rights in Latin America, specifically in Argentina and Mexico, focusing in particular on the legislative processes related to comprehensive care systems at the sub-national and national levels. We draw on the cases of Mexico City (2018-2019) and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (2019) as well as the national level in each country, where there are ongoing legislative initiatives (2020). Objective:To determine the frequency and to describe the characteristics of unjustified ambulatory referrals based on no pertinent diagnosis done at an adult outpatient clinic of a third level Peruvian hospital. Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried-out from April to December 2019 at Hospital Cayetano Heredia. Data were extracted from REFCON with a population of 99 891 referrals. To justify the reference, a list of diagnosis that does not require referral was used. In addition, variables such as age, sex, specialty of destination, category of the health center of origin, district of origin and diagnosis of the unjustified referral. The purpose of this work is to analyze the category of care as an ethical value. For this I propose to retake an approach called ethics of care, exposing its main characteristics. I consider that one of the main criticisms made to this theory has to do with the indeterminacy of the normative content of the notion of care, and the subsequent impossibility of formulating a complete ethical theory that uses it as a fundamental category in directing the moral action of people. Advances in biomedical technology have increased the success rate of medical procedures due to improvements in safety and efficacy. During the assessment of patients with acute neurological disorder who require a lumbar puncture, some conditions may hinder its performance, such as infection at the puncture site or bone abnormalities that may cause spinal cord injury. Bedside ultrasound is a good alternative to assist in the performance of a puncture, due to its ability to examine structures that cannot be assessed by physical examination. In primary health care centers, where there may be obstacles that prevent access to expensive imaging tools, ultrasound is a cost-effective option in the approach to urgent pathologies. In view of the foregoing, this paper aims to review important recent evidence-based concepts related to the use of ultrasound for the performance of a lumbar puncture.

Background: Text messaging (SMS) interventions to improve HIV retention in care have shown mixed results, probably due to the diversity of features of their design and implementation.
