Objective: To describe, analyze and understand the nurse's perception of the care provided to patients with COVID-19 in the Intensive Care Unit, Chiclayo 2021. Method: The study was qualitative, with descriptive design. The population consisted of 69 ICU nurses; the sample consisted of 15 nurses of which 8 were from the Regional Hospital, 3 from the Luis Heysen Incháustegui Hospital and 4 from the Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo Hospital; the sample size was determined by convenience sampling with snowball technique. The instrument was a semi-structured interview, with prior informed consent using the ZOOM platform; the information was analyzed using the content analysis method. La investigación tuvo como objetivo: Describir, analizar y comprender la percepción de la enfermera sobre los cuidados brindados al paciente con COVID-19 en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos, Chiclayo 2021. Fue de tipo cualitativa, con diseño descriptivo. La población lo conformaron 69 enfermeras de la UCI de Chiclayo; la muestra estuvo constituida por 15 enfermeras: 8 fueron del Hospital Regional, 3 del Hospital Luis Heysen Incháustegui y 4 del Hospital Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo; el tamaño de la muestra se determinó mediante un muestreo por conveniencia con técnica de bola de nieve.
