Due to the importance of raising the academic performance of students in the regular basic education at the secondary level, the work presented in this paper is developed in the framework of Quality Systems for the Management of ICT. The model has developed an implementation guide that allows properly follow procedures for diagnosis and improvement activities. It is based on the Model Cycle Demming Continuous Improvement (PDCA) and the Self-Assessment Standard ISO 9004.2009 also comprehensively considers the processes and strategies of teaching in educational institutions and the educational model of the country. The planning and implementation of self-assessment will reveal what level of maturity is the institution with respect to the management of ICT, to finally act through improvement activities seeking to correct nonconformities to reach the level of maturity No. 1 or the next level...

The present article is an international review or state of the art that analyzed more than seventy texts of studies and interventions of information and communication technologies for development and social change with the objective of identifying tendencies, in particular those that had the specific purpose of youth development. In the results of this systematization stands out the discussions around the concept of development, the predominance of works in marginalized communities, and the need to orient this field towards situated users and problems, as is the case of young people, a topic that has been less attended.

This comparative study analyzes the initial teacher training in Paraguay regarding the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) across different socioeconomic regions of the country. A quantitative approach was employed, with a descriptive scope and a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 476 prospective teachers from 11 officially managed teacher training institutes nationwide. The findings reveal significant convergences and divergences concerning the availability of technological resources, the training received, and attitudes toward ICT. The Central-Southern region shows the greatest shortage of technological resources, although all regions share the need to improve technological infrastructure and training in the use of these technologies. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the adoption of virtual and hybrid teaching methods, leading to substantial changes in educational approaches. This study focused on evaluating the effect of mediating technologies on post-pandemic educational processes, emphasizing their essential role in enhancing interaction and cooperation between teachers and students. Although their relevance is evident, challenges persist in terms of access, quality, and evaluation of technological educational initiatives. To address these challenges, a comprehensive literature review was conducted, examining 26 international academic studies published in the last five years. The objective was to evaluate the effect of the application of the GeoGebra software on the problem-solving skills of two-dimensional geometric figures in a sample of 53 university students distributed in two groups (control -experimental) evaluated in two moments: before and after the intervention. . Parametric tests were used to compare independent and related pairs and nonparametric tests were used to compare between classification levels. The results showed that the post-test experimental group was the one that presented the best performance, demonstrating that the use of GeoGebra software improved the solving skills of this type of mathematical problems, promoting collaborative work, social-student integration and improvement of the classroom climate. It is recommended to extend the use of this tool with other applications that help the teaching-learning process.

ICT and digitization are transforming higher education, but one aspect that has been little addressed is student academic stress in this context. The objective of this research was to explore the relationship between teaching practices and academic stress in virtual learning environments. A quantitative study based on structural equation modeling was conducted using 6605 students from a public university in Lima. Two scales were applied and validated to assess specific dimensions of teaching practices and levels of academic stress. The scales demonstrated robust psychometric properties. El presente estudio titulado “Influencia de las TICs en la gestión de ventas de las agencias de viajes de Iquitos, 2025” analizó el impacto que ejercen las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación en los procesos comerciales de estas empresas. El objetivo principal consistió en evaluar cómo la adopción de herramientas digitales modifica la eficiencia, la captación y la fidelización de clientes.
