This essay explores an ontology of being with existential possibilities within the framework of developing a proposal for an ontological pedagogy. At the core of this ontology lies the notion of autonomy. To fully understand it, a dialogue is established between enaction and neurophenomenology (Varela), philosophy of mind (Dennett), and Heidegger’s philosophy, complemented by elements of art and popular culture. This innovative approach shifts the focus of educational sciences toward meaning and purpose, rather than merely instrumental components in any sense of the word. Ultimately, it is students who benefit, while teachers themselves undergo a process of transformation.

The transition of the 30S initiation complex (IC) to the translating 70S ribosome after 50S subunit joining provides an important checkpoint for mRNA selection during translation in bacteria. Here, we study the timing and control of reactions that occur during 70S IC formation by rapid kinetic techniques, using a toolbox of fluorescence-labeled translation components. We present a kinetic model based on global fitting of time courses obtained with eight different reporters at increasing concentrations of 50S subunits. IF1 and IF3 together affect the kinetics of subunit joining, but do not alter the elemental rates of subsequent steps of 70S IC maturation. After 50S subunit joining, IF2-dependent reactions take place independent of the presence of IF1 or IF3. GTP hydrolysis triggers the efficient dissociation of fMet-tRNAfMet from IF2 and promotes the dissociation of IF2 and IF1 from the ...

The main paradox of the land tenure regime in the name of the Altiplano during the latter part of the colonial period was the following: land was cheap. It had not yet become a "commodity good", since in principle it was marketed as a secondary part of the livestock capital it fed. In most of the transactions the value of the cattle and that of their pastures was one. Without the cattle the pastures were worth very little. This corresponded to a situation in which both livestock and population were not numerous.

This paper presents field data of a survey into the Cruz de Hueso Basin. This survey was based on my interest for a more thorough knowledge of the potential of the archaeological sites that were located within the basin, between its point of origin and the point known as Capilla de Chamaure. Another factor that motivated us to make this survey was the importance of the basin as traffic road and connection toward the highlands of Huarochirí and from there toward the coast, becoming this way the complement or control of sea and height resources, for the ancient societies that were developed in this area. Also, we present the data that we were able to gather from the archaeological site of Caringa, with the aim of approaching to the subsistence of the human group that lived in a seasonal ecosystem as the lomas of southern Lima, besides providing some data on their social organization.

Th e aim was to describe the communicative theoretical transition from the mental model of teaching to the registration of software as copyright. Th e study was carried out from July to October 2023, using the workshop “Knowledge and competences in the workshop and seminars of university teaching”, which was held at the Universidad Nacional San Luis Gonzaga, Ica, Peru, as a template for the mental model. Based on the analysis of the teaching category referring to the professional process of teaching and learning, six theoretical-practical tools were conceptualized: 1st) didactic strategies, 2nd) content, 3rd) resources, 4th) activities, 5th) evaluation, and 6th) learning. A source code was created for each tool, as well as a user’s manual and a brief description of a work for its software copyright registration at the Centro Nacional de Derecho del Autor y del Artista Interprete ...

Objective: to describe the existing patterns of mortality in Peru, at the national and regional level. Materials and methods: a secondary analysis using national death records from 2003 to 2016 was conducted. The Global Burden of Disease 20017 approach was utilized to group underlying causes of death into five groups: non-communicable diseases, infectious diseases, maternal and neonatal, nutritional, and injury deaths. The Mann-Kendall tau test was used to assess trends and changes of causes of death over time. Results: between 2003 and 2016, a total of 1′295,290 deaths at the national level were recorded, but only 698,037 records were analyzed. For 2003, 63.9% of deaths were attributed to non-communicable diseases, whereas 16.9% were due to infectious diseases, and 8.8% for injuries. For 2016, 83.6% of deaths were attributed to non-communicable diseases (p-value for trends < 0.001)...

The enlightened elite of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries understood the concept of patriotism in two different ways; the term “utilitarian patriotism” is proposed to refer to the patriotism promoted by the Sociedad de Amantes del País and “republican patriotism” to the option spread by Hipólito Unanue in the newspaper Nuevo Día del Perú (1824), which could be extrapolated to the rest of supporters of the republican regime after the Peruvian declaration of independence. The exploration of  the ethical foundations and models of society and government ideals related to both forms of patriotism, makes evident the complexity of this concept´s reception by a particular social group, and its relevance within the history of Peruvian political thought is recognized.

The purpose of this paper is inquired into the different dilemmas and tensionsexperienced by psychology students in their transition from university classroom to the pre-professional practice as a therapist in high school. The research is located in the qualitative paradigm, was carried out with 16 students studying the last year of the Psychology formation, through qualitative observation and depth interviews in the context of pre-professional practice. Six dilemmas and tensions experienced by learners in the transition from the classroom to the pre-practice were featured. We discuss about how identities are constantly re-negotiated and the resources that promote regulation with identity tensions in the pre-practice of novice psychologists.

"This paper has two objectives: First, to discuss the challenges and the potential of the possible interconnection between targeted social policies and production-oriented policies and programs, especially programs aimed at achieving sustained income generation in the poorest families or providing them with tools for successful inclusion in the financial system; and second, to explore the processes needed to implement these interconnections. We propose a road map that begins with pilot programs, which can become larger-scale social policies with broader coverage after a process of learning and adaptation. This model emerges from two recent experiences of targeted social policy in Peru: the Juntos-Haku Wiñay pilot and the financial inclusion pilot program for users of the Juntos CCT program." –Abstract.

The present investigation has as its general objective to determine the relationship that exists between the development of the pedagogical campus and the installation of learning communities, according to the Model of Practical Formation of the Metropolitan University of Science in Santiago, 2019 for this purpose, a quantitative method was used, obtaining the information through the application of questionnaires to 20 key actors of the Pedagogical Campus installed by the Metropolitan University of Science of Education in the framework of the implementation of its Model of Practical Modeling. Within the results it can be established that there is a strained relationship between knowledge about the model of practical training of the Universidad dicha and the actions carried out by the actors on the pedagogical campuses. In addition, it is essential to consolidate the teaching campuses of ...

The objective of this work is to analyze how "bare life" is reflected and manifested in the migration crisis at the Peru - Chile border during the months of February to May 2023. The methodology consists of a documentary and conceptual analysis based on literature on migration and biopolitics, journalistic news and communications from agencies involved. Giorgio Agamben's concept of bare life is used, identifying three conditions that allow determining its manifestation in migratory contexts. The results show that stranded migrants at the border experienced a loss of rights and the State exercised biopolitical control over them by reducing them to vulnerable bodies. The precarious conditions to which they were subjected, without access to basic resources or services, demonstrate their condition of bare life and homo sacer. The conclusions highlight the urgency of recognizing this dehumani...

The study examines the job market of «urban youth» aged between 18 and 35 without higher education (university or technical) based on household surveys (Encuesta Nacional de Hogares – Enaho) and specialized surveys (Encuesta Nacional de Habilidades – Enhab; Encuesta de Transición de la Escuela al Trabajo – Entrans). The results show, firstly, supply constraints in the period 2007- 2012, which coincides with the massification of higher education over the last ten years. Secondly, it was found that students from public schools are more liable to complete high school with maxi- mum educational attainment. Thirdly, it was estimated that urban youths aged 15 to 29 cited in the Entrans 2012—and who received job training in the year prior to the survey—are 4.1 times more likely to obtain «adequate employment» in terms of pay, adequate contracts, and health insurance. Fina...

Abstract: To answer the question, and then what? it is first necessary to ask ourselves how we appeared on Earth and how we got to where we are; then to answer what happens today; and, finally, to try to establish how our disturbed human system might unfold in the future. Development and preparation of this document use a complex systems perspective. The link between human system components is considered as a social energy that can unite or repel. The greater the cohesion energy, the greater the adaptive capacity of the system; its continuity implies transformation. Entropic energy leads to collapse. The human system historical deployment has generated changes in the predominance of cohesion and repulsion energies that have manifested themselves in the pattern of bonds., Entropic energy has been enhanced with the appearance of the COVID-19 pandemic. The same goes for the growth of mental...
