This contribution analyzes the role fulfilled by International Labor Standards and, specifically, by social clauses in Free Trade Conventions and Agreements, as a way of preventing social dumping and building a social dimension in the globalization and regionalization of economy. The author offers the case of the MERCOSUR Labor and Social Declaration, issued in 2015, which amends that of the year 1998, studying its contents, legal efficacy and supervision mechanisms. He emphasizes the fact that social charters generally limit themselves to recognizing fundamental or basic labor rights already found in the legislation of the member countries, but which are nonetheless useful for hindering attempts to deregulate or relax social and labor provisions.

The notoriety that criminal proceedings against Latin-American political figures have acquired led some to argue that such proceedings constitute a perverse attack against popular leaders who oppose the neoliberal agendas of the global north. Before this issue, in this article I intend to systematically reconstruct the specialized literature on the concept of lawfare. Then I will outline both mythical and fallacious nature of many of the explanations and implications for so-called lawfare. Since those criticisms, I will highlight two relevant topics: (i) the necessary respect for the basic procedural guarantees for any person who is accused of serious crimes against public administration, and (ii) the inevitable political dimension of legal interpretation.

The use and interpretation, comprehension and production of texts through different networks and virtual platforms that can be replicated in their educational praxis through the construction of flexible learning environments relevant to current educational needs. This research aimed to determine the incidence of private investments in the construction sector as the capital investment, the construction licenses processed and skilled labor in Moquegua's Gross Domestic Product from 2013 to 2017. The method used this research is basic and explanatory non experimental with a retrospective study design applying document analysis and using available information from public institutions, whose results were statistically analyzed through linear regression. It is concluded that private investment in the construction sector has directly incidence in Moquegua's Gross Domestic Product from 2013 to 2017, with a growing, positive, and constant tendency.
