Mathematicians and computational designers from a School of Architecture, explore visual programming in the environment of a design software with exercises of a basic mathematics course to overcome the limitations of hand drawing and computerized representation of geometry. We link the learning of geometry, which was associated with abstract aspects of mathematics, with the possibilities of solving design problems in the same environment that students use to design with technologies. Visual programming allowed to create and reuse formulas that modeled variations of different exercises, preparing the model for visualization and digital fabrication with 3D printing and laser cutting. This study reveals the importance of distance learning for professional students’ training in this innovative activity in regional institute of physical education. The urgency of research is based on the problem of insufficient readiness of physical education teachers and sports coaches in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) to implement distance learning. It is also based on the lack of widely used educational programs that are scientifically grounded, well tested in practice and that promote targeted training of physical education teachers to use DL technologies in the course of pandemic. The objective was to evaluate the effect of the application of the GeoGebra software on the problem-solving skills of two-dimensional geometric figures in a sample of 53 university students distributed in two groups (control -experimental) evaluated in two moments: before and after the intervention. . Parametric tests were used to compare independent and related pairs and nonparametric tests were used to compare between classification levels. The results showed that the post-test experimental group was the one that presented the best performance, demonstrating that the use of GeoGebra software improved the solving skills of this type of mathematical problems, promoting collaborative work, social-student integration and improvement of the classroom climate. It is recommended to extend the use of this tool with other applications that help the teaching-learning process.

The authors examined the operational purpose of 48 items that establish the criteria for accreditation for teaching , learning and assessment in a medical school , and determined to what extent these criteria are applied by schools and local evaluators in 59 programs evaluated by the Consensus Committee on Medical Education ( LCME ) in the period 1994-1996.
