In this paper, the construction of a wireless data acquisition system is described. The system enable us monitoring process that are developed in hazardous environments, or other physical phenomena that must be realized far away the laboratory. Three basic units compose the system: analogic to digital converter with transmitter, receiver, and the PC with application software.

The study proposes the radio link, powered by photovoltaic solar energy, using wireless radios. The system allows the transmission of data for sensors located in high mountains. For the design, the Ubiquiti simulator was used, verifying the coordinates of the radio stations, evaluating the lines of sight between the separate stations. The total distance between Base Station B and Sensor Station S is approximately 23,852 Kilometers, with 04 radio links, in the free 5.8 Ghz band. This system allows a continuous operation of 24 hours with low levels of solar radiation energy, additionally it can support HD, IP video cameras.

The main objective on this research is the development of finding the optimal parameters for a routing algorithm for network routers based on the ant algorithm described as AntNet. The optimum parameters for this type of algorithm improve a more efficient alternative to those given by the RIP, EIGRP and OSPF routing protocols, to be applied in a data network. This shall be tested in two networks and routers defined, taking the same characteristics for the three groups: RIP, OSPF and by the result provided by the genetic algorithm implemented using a static network. In the new global and local scenario, the advent of intelligent distribution networks or Smart Grids allows real-time collection of data on the operating status of the electricity grid. Based on this availability of data, it is feasible and convenient to predict consumption in the short term, from a few hours to a week. The hypothesis of the study is that the method used to present time variables to a prediction system of electricity consumption affects the results.

This article shows the application made in Android that enables the registration of the data obtained by serial communication from any embedded system, as well as the testing of the inputs and outputs in a portable device equipped with the Android operating system. To achieve this, the Ohwada libraries were used as reference, modified so that the register option in the SD memory of the mobile device was available from the moment the start button is pressed until the moment the stop button is pressed. The way of showing the acquired values by serial in a single console was also modified, along with some configurations parameters in the transmission of data.

High penetration of renewable energy sources (RES) leads to new challenges for protection devices. Protection schemes are typically designed according to the dynamic behavior of rotating machines as generation sources, while the RES dynamic response, mainly governed by inverters, is not considered. Introduction: The evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic varies in each population; it has been complicating health systems worldwide. Objective: to analyze the evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic, estimating the effect of the containment measures practiced in Peru. Material and Method: The SIR epidemiological mathematical modeling was applied, estimating the COVID-19 evolution in our population. Data analysis was performed following the SIR mathematical model with defined ordinary differential equations to simulate epidemiological behavior; and it was executed in the RStudio programming language.
