La incorporación de las Tecnologías de Información y Comunicaciones (TI) en las organizaciones públicas y privadas permite dar soporte a los procesos, mejorar su desempeño y brindar servicios de calidad. Sin embargo, son pocas las organizaciones que logran todos estos beneficios. A pesar de la existencia de buenas prácticas y modelos de Gobierno TI (GTI), lograr el alineamiento estratégico del negocio con las TI es un reto que enfrentan los CIO (Chief Information Officer). In a context characterized by structural transformations and the credibility crisis of journalism, media accountability is of outmost importance. Focusing on the Spanish context, this article examines journalists’ and citizens’ perceptions of in-house accountability instruments. To do so, an online survey was administered to Spanish journalists, six citizen focus groups were established and 19 in-depth interviews were conducted with experts and representatives from professional associations. The results reveal that journalists’ evaluation of media accountability instruments is modest. From the citizens’ perspective, the lack of visibility and relative distrust toward these instruments are highlighted. Virus-like particles have been synthetized from a self-assembling L1 protein, using celular and bacterial expresion systems. Human papillomavirus (HPV) virus-like particle prophylactic vaccines are effective in preventing infection and lesions caused by the targeted HPV type. Clinical trials with 3 vaccine prototypes (HPV16, other with HPV 16/18 and other with 6/11/16/18) have demonstrated their safety, immunogenicity and efficacy to prevent CIN 2/3, immediate precursors of invasive cervical carcinoma. Vaccination programs with adequate coverage would have the potential to substantially reduce morbidity and mortality related to cervical cancer. This paper presents data from clinical trials of the above mentioned vaccines.

Como punto de partida, la Vita Christi (Bertonio, 1612e) [VXti ] tiene, en la concepción de Ludovico Bertonio [B], mucha complementariedad con los otros libros publicados en Juli, en 1612, en la imprenta de Francisco del Canto trasladada temporalmente allí para este fin. Además de su obvia finalidad evangelizadora, la VXti 1 es un importante corpus tanto para el Vocabulario (1612d) como para la Silva de Phrases (1612b) que en alguna manera lo complementa, e incluso para las Artes (1603, 1612a). When 500 years ago the Catholic Church and much more recently other Christian denominations came into contact with the Andean populations that today make up the states of Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia, they did not arrive at an empty world on which they could establish their own utopia at will. A solidly established society already existed for a long time, with its own social, economic and political institutions; with its own cultural synthesis, its value system, its ethics and its religion. Belisario Boeto es una provincia relativamente pequeña, con 15,000 habitantes y una densidad de 8 habitantes por km2. Su capital, Villa Serrano, es el único núcleo importante, con unos 3,000 habitantes. La siguiente población, Mendoza, sólo tiene un centenar de familias. El resto de la población está disperso en unas 170 comunidades pequeñas que, en el mejor de los casos, sólo llegan a tener 30 familias, y en muchos casos no llegan ni a 10. Está en las estribaciones andinas que descienden desde un máximo de 3,840m. hasta los 900 m. en las márgenes del río Grande.

En nuestros pagos se dice que empezar una nueva revista es fácil. El mérito empieza cuando se logra sacar el número dos. La heroicidad está en llegar a cumplir los 20 años de publicación regular. Es el caso de Allpanchis, "Nuestra tierra". En estas páginas daré mis impresiones personales sobre una revista cuyo enfoque y temática andina rebalsa esas ficticias fronteras estatales que hoy parten el mundo andino. Quieren ser también un homenaje a una revista que siempre he guardado cerca, bien al alcance de la mano, y a quienes la hicieron y siguen haciendo posible. 

This work is a sociological and anthropological analysis of one of the main celebrations of the type of pilgrimage within the valleys of Cochabamba. Descriptions and analyzes of festivals and ritual celebrations abound in Andean literature. But in the vast majority of cases they are local or regional festivals of a patronal type, descriptions of pilgrimages are less frequent, although some are not lacking, such as that of Ramírez (1969) on the novena of Qoyllur Rit'i near from Cuzco. There are parts of the Andes where pilgrimages are almost non-existent, such as among the Aymara (Albó, in press).
