Introducción: Ante la situación de emergencia sanitaria por la COVID-19, la necesidad de uso de dispositivos médicos tuvo especial relevancia. Metodología: Se realizó una búsqueda no sistemática de la literatura dirigida a la identificación de documentos que aborden tópicos relacionados al desarrollo, implementación, evaluación y/o características de fichas técnicas de dispositivos médicos. Así mismo, se revisó el Sistema SAP para la obtención y análisis de los datos relacionados a las compras antes de pandemia (2000-2019) y durante pandemia (2020-2021). Contenido: A nivel mundial, se describieron las experiencias de la OMS, Instituto ECRI e INAHTA. A nivel de Latinoamérica, se encontraron experiencias en Ecuador, Colombia, Argentina, Brasil, México y Panamá. Background: Given the health emergency caused by COVID-19, the need for the use of medical devices was particularly relevant. Methodology: A non-systematic literature search was conducted to identify documents that address topics related to the development, implementation, evaluation and/or characteristics of technical datasheets for medical devices. In addition, the SAP System was reviewed for the collection and analysis of data related to pre-pandemic (2000-2019) and in-pandemic (2020-2021) procurement. Evidence: At the global level, the experiences of WHO, ECRI Institute and INAHTA were described. Peru is considered one of the principal agroindustrial avocado exporters worldwide. At the beginning of 2022, the volume exported was 8.3% higher than in 2021, so the design and simulation of a pick and place and palletizing cell for agro-exporting companies in the Region of La Libertad was proposed. A methodology was followed that presented a flow diagram of the design of the cell, considering the size of the avocado and the dimensions of the box-type packaging. Background: Cerebrovascular accident (CVA) is one of the main causes of permanent disability, as it can cause serious brain injuries with significant physical consequences, limiting the ability to perform daily activities. Objective: This research aimed to design a robotic system of passive-continuous movement for the rehabilitation of lower limbs in adult patients with stroke, thus improving the chances of recovery of their walking mobility. Background: Mixed reality (MR), a combination of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), has emerged as a key tool in surgical mechatronics, improving precision and visualization in clinical procedures. Methods: This study presents a literature review of recent MR advances from the Scopus database, taking into account its impact on surgery and medical education. Technologies such as Microsoft HoloLens and Magic Leap, as well as neurosurgery and orthopedic simulators, are reviewed. Results: MR enhances surgical precision and reduces operating times, with an average decrease from 121.34 to 97.62 minutes. Mechatronics and Robotics (MaR) have recently gained importance in product development and manufacturing settings and applications. Therefore,the Center for Space Emerging Technologies (C-SET) has managed an international multi-disciplinary study to present, historically, the first Latin American general review of industrial, collaborative, and mobile robotics, with the support of North American and European researchers and institutions.
