This article aims to provide a brief description of some basic concepts related to intellectual property and copyright as established by the World Intellectual Property Organization. In the Peruvian context, these concepts are also addressed in Legislative Decree No. 822 – Copyright Law, the Penal Code, and by the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property.

In public hospitals there is a massive demand for health services and workers of various specialties play a vital role in supplying such demand. Objective: to reflect on medical action and free will. Method: narrative-reflexive bibliographic review. Conclusions: human action and decision is always conditioned, although it has a margin to act as it should and not as it should. In health services, this margin implies that the doctor abandons his protocol commitment and acts according to his free will without delimiting possible responsibilities in the consequences that these could have on patients. The acting of the doctor regulated by the protocols of medicine and deontology emerges in the patient an absolute confidence, therefore, there is no reason for intervention of the ethical and deontological surveillance committee, although, if it were the opposite, it should do so. Objective: To know the pedagogical experience of the application of project-based learning (ABP) in students of the third cycle of nursing at a university in North of Lima. Materials and methods: The design used was quantitative and descriptive. A total of 21 work groups participated, consisting of three to four students. For data collection, a rubric and an interview guide were used. Results: Of the 21 groups of students, 52.4% (n=11) had a good level of learning with the ABP methodology, however 4.8% (n=1) had a regular level. Two categories emerged from the interviews: benefits and difficulties that could have been encountered in the development of the pedagogical experience. Objective: Determine the validity and reliability of the questionnaire to identify healthy lifestyle in students of a Peruvian university. Materials and Methods: cross-sectional descriptive study. The sample was of 449 university students. Four dimensions were considered: Physical-mental health (Consumption of healthy eating, physical activity, mental), social (personal relationships, recreational and recreational activities), ethical-moral (attitude towards norms, solidarity among the group, tolerance in competitiveness) and academic-family. Objectives: To determine the level of physical activity in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who received medical attention in primary health care in North Lima. Materials and methods: This was a cross-sectional descriptive study in 164 patients of both genders, aged between 23 and 64 years, with a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus. The evaluation of physical activity was carried out with the short version of the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ). Results: We included 164 patients with a mean age of 51.3 years (SD = 8.5), 61% (n = 100) were women, 64.6% (n=106) with ages ≥50 years, 63.4% (n=104) had secondary education, 59.8% (n=98) had been diagnosed 2 to 5 years ago. Objective: determining the prevalence of obesity and overweight according to the type of family and the risk of acquiring non-communicable diseases (NCD).Materials and methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study. Participants were identified retroactively from students´ health cards. Obesity and overweight were determined basing on body mass index (BMI) and whereas for the risk of NCD waist circumference (WC) was used. Family type was classified as nuclear family, extended, expanded, single parent, reconstituted and family equivalent.Results: From 514 students, 43.4% were men and 56.6% women   (Mean age 20.7 years; min. 15; max. 50; DS= 5. 66). Objectives: To evaluate and compare the level of learning about healthy habits through audiovisual media and text in primary school students. Materials and methods: Quasi-experimental study carried out in two Primary Educational Institutions located in North of Lima. Students of both sexes between 10 and 12 years of age who were in the fourth, fifth and sixth grade voluntarily participated. The study variable was the level of learning about healthy habits (healthy food and physical activity) after an educational session by trained personnel, applied in two intervention groups, in the first group a text was used and in the second group a medium audiovisual. The present study aims to establish the correlation between communication skills and social interaction among students of the Faculty of Education of a public university in Lima. The research is framed under the positivist paradigm, with a quantitative approach, a basic type, of the non-experimental design, with a cross section, of the sub-type of correlational design. The population was census, consisting of 214 students, who were administered two valid and reliable questionnaires: the communication skills instrument (ratified by KR-20 = 0.98) and social interaction (validated by Cronbach's Alpha = 0.988). Introduction: Global mortality due to noncommunicable diseases is high and increasing. In Peru it represents 66% of the deaths. Objective: The objectives of this study were to determine the frequency of obesity and overweight, and to evaluate cardiovascular and metabolic risk. Materials and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study developed between July and November of 2016, the participants were faculty members of a private university located in the northern area of Lima. To determine the overweight and obesity was used the body mass index; cardiovascular and metabolic risks were assessed with the abdominal perimeter; and the risk of diabetes mellitus was determined using the FINDRISC questionnaire.
