El presente artículo tiene como objetivo realizar una breve descripción de algunos conceptos básicos relacionados con la propiedad intelectual y derecho de autor que se encuentran en la Organización Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual; en el caso peruano, en el Decreto Legislativo N° 822 – Ley sobre el Derecho de Autor, en el Código Penal, y en el Instituto Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia y de la Protección de la Propiedad Intelectual (INDECOPI).

En los hospitales públicos existe una demanda masiva de los servicios de salud y los trabajadores de diversas especialidades cumplen un rol vital para abastecer tal demanda. Objetivo: Reflexionar acerca del actuar médico y el libre albedrío. Método: revisión bibliográfica narrativa-reflexiva. Conclusiones: la acción y decisión humana siempre está condicionada, aunque posee un margen para actuar como le conviene y no como se debe. En los servicios de salud, este margen implica que el médico abandona su compromiso protocolar y actúa de acuerdo a su libre albedrío sin delimitar posibles responsabilidades en las consecuencias que estas podrían tener en los pacientes. Objetivo: Conocer la experiencia pedagógica de la aplicación del aprendizaje basado en proyectos (ABP) en estudiantes del tercer ciclo de enfermería de una universidad de Lima Norte. Materiales y métodos: El diseño empleado fue cuanticualitativo descriptivo. Participaron 21 grupos de trabajo, formado tres y/o cuatro estudiantes. Para la recolección de los datos se utilizó una rúbrica y una guía de entrevista. Resultados: De los 21 grupos de estudiantes, el 52,4% (n=11) alcanzó un nivel bueno de aprendizaje con la metodología de ABP, no obstante el 4,8% (n=1) tuvo un nivel regular. De las entrevistas emergieron dos categorías: beneficios y dificultades que pudieron haberse encontrado en el desarrollo de la experiencia pedagógica. Objetivo: Determinar la validez y fiabilidad del cuestionario para identificar el estilo de vida saludable en estudiantes de una universidad peruana. Materiales y Métodos: estudio descriptivo transversal. La muestra fue de 449 estudiantes universitarios. Se tuvo en consideración 4 dimensiones: Salud física-mental (consumo de alimentación saludable, actividad física, mental), social (relaciones personales, actividades lúdicas y recreativas), ético-moral (actitud hacia las normas, solidaridad entre el grupo, tolerancia) y académico-familiar. Objectives: To evaluate and compare the level of learning about healthy habits through audiovisual media and text in primary school students. Materials and methods: Quasi-experimental study carried out in two Primary Educational Institutions located in North of Lima. Students of both sexes between 10 and 12 years of age who were in the fourth, fifth and sixth grade voluntarily participated. The study variable was the level of learning about healthy habits (healthy food and physical activity) after an educational session by trained personnel, applied in two intervention groups, in the first group a text was used and in the second group a medium audiovisual. Objectives: To determine the level of physical activity in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who received medical attention in primary health care in North Lima. Materials and methods: This was a cross-sectional descriptive study in 164 patients of both genders, aged between 23 and 64 years, with a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus. The evaluation of physical activity was carried out with the short version of the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ). Results: We included 164 patients with a mean age of 51.3 years (SD = 8.5), 61% (n = 100) were women, 64.6% (n=106) with ages ≥50 years, 63.4% (n=104) had secondary education, 59.8% (n=98) had been diagnosed 2 to 5 years ago. Objetivos: determinar la prevalencia de obesidad y sobrepeso según el tipo de familia y el riesgo de adquirir enfermedades no transmisibles (ENT). Materiales y métodos: estudio descriptivo transversal. Los sujetos participantes fueron identificados de manera retrospectiva a partir de las fichas de salud de los estudiantes. La obesidad y sobrepeso se determinó a partir del índice de masa corporal (IMC) y para el riesgo de adquirir ENT se empleó el perímetro abdominal (PA). El tipo de familia fue clasificado en familia nuclear, extendida, ampliada, monoparental, reconstituida y equivalente familiar. The present study aims to establish the correlation between communication skills and social interaction among students of the Faculty of Education of a public university in Lima. The research is framed under the positivist paradigm, with a quantitative approach, a basic type, of the non-experimental design, with a cross section, of the sub-type of correlational design. The population was census, consisting of 214 students, who were administered two valid and reliable questionnaires: the communication skills instrument (ratified by KR-20 = 0.98) and social interaction (validated by Cronbach's Alpha = 0.988). Introduction: Global mortality due to noncommunicable diseases is high and increasing. In Peru it represents 66% of the deaths. Objective: The objectives of this study were to determine the frequency of obesity and overweight, and to evaluate cardiovascular and metabolic risk. Materials and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study developed between July and November of 2016, the participants were faculty members of a private university located in the northern area of Lima. To determine the overweight and obesity was used the body mass index; cardiovascular and metabolic risks were assessed with the abdominal perimeter; and the risk of diabetes mellitus was determined using the FINDRISC questionnaire.
