Aqueous extractions were performed controlling the pH with CaCO3 and Ca(OH)2, using as clarifiers activated coal and activated clays in cold and warm solutions to obtain best results with cold bentonite, warm activated clay and warm activated coal. Analytical results were compared with a commercial sample of stevia.

The current article presents a thematic review about the state of the art on family resilience articles published in spanish. Starting from the risk and protective factors, it moves toward a definition of resilience, as well as the emergence of the construct. Besides, there are described the components of the resilience approach, such as the salutogenic and ecological models and positive psychology. Family resilience is characterized from the systemic approach and the family stress theory, as well as the main family resilience processes. Is argued on the relevance of the model to approach to topical issues. Various publications are reviewed by types of study: cualitative and cuantitative researches, and review articles. Conclusions and recomendations emanating from the thematic review are presented to finish.

In large urbanized cities, a major problem that affects the economy and health of all citizens is vehicular congestion. This is because the traffic light cycles are not adequate. In the present study, we seek to optimize traffic light cycles based on simulation, in order to improve vehicle flow. For this, the PTV Vissim 9.0 software was used as a simulator and the Synchro 10.0 software to determine the initial optimal traffic light cycle. Through several runs and having as variables the length of queues, delay times and the average speed, the optimal traffic light cycle could be found for the study area. The results obtained reflect a 14% reduction in delay times and 10% in queue lengths. On the other hand, the average vehicle speed increased by 10.56%. All this represents an improvement in the service level of the study intersections.

The yacon root is a member of the sunflower family. The roots of yacon has inuline. lnuline is a polyfructosane, which helps to moderate blood sugar levels (pass through the digestive tract unmetabolized). Yacon therefore has considerable value to dieters and people with diabetes. The quantitative analysis shows mineral macronutrients (Na, K, Mg, Ca, P). and micronutrients (Fe, Zn, Mn). The qualitative analysis shows very important secondary metabolites (amino acids, carbohydrate, reducing sugars, flavonoides)

Seeds of chirimoya and guanabana from the communities of Cumbe and Callahuanca - Yauyos, Lima were analyzed. The extraction of natural toxic was realized using ethanol as the optimal solvent, after several solvent tests, phytochemicals analysis identified :saponins, coumarins, tannins, quinones and essential oils, mostly castor oil which was confirmed by FTIR spectra. Qualitative analysis results identified: PO4(3-), AsO4(3-) and others. Toxicological tests extracts applied on larvae and fruit flies finding levels of mortality as 88% to 94% on chirimoyas and guanabanas respectively.

We worked with the cladode, gel and pulp of the fruit: red, purple and white of Opuntia ficus-indica “tuna” in the region of Ayacucho Wari Department, Huamanga province in order to determine the presence of minerals, metabolites secondary antioxidant capacity and consider a functional food. The phytochemical screening according to the method of Cain - Bohmann determined catechic the presence of tannins, steroidal saponins, flavonoids, coumarins, and alkaloids. The total fiber content was found in the range of 0,42 to 0,68%, fat 0,01 to 0,02% protein and 0,39 to 0,57%. For analysis of nutrients as found AOAC magnesium, calcium, zinc and phosphorus, potassium and iron traces. Due to the presence of these nutrients to the tuna it can be considered as a functional food. Jams pulp obtained tunas studied were evaluated according to standard NTS MINSA No. 071 / DIGESA V.01, giving as a pass...
