Esta investigación desarrolla la validación de un modelo de mejora continua que permite mejorar las ineficiencias en los procesos de servicio de atención en restaurantes de comida rápida en la ciudad de Lima. Our proposed system improves upon previous solutions by integrating real-time process mining techniques to reduce resource consumption in banking operations. The troubleshooting process for communication links in telecommunications is a complex process that is divided into sub-processes; one of these sub-processes is Failure Repair. In this paper, Lean Six Sigma is applied in to improve this sub-process. As a result, the monthly average of the Repair Time (TR) improved in 36.7%, and the Repair Time Yield (YTR) improved in 300.08%.

Internet of Things (IoT) has posed new requirements to the underlying processing architecture, specially for real-time applications, such as event-detection services. Complex Event Processing (CEP) engines provide a powerful tool to implement these services. Fog computing has raised as a solution to support IoT real-time applications, in contrast to the Cloud-based approach. This work is aimed at analysing a CEP-based Fog architecture for real-time IoT applications that uses a publish-subscribe protocol. A testbed has been developed with low-cost and local resources to verify the suitability of CEP-engines to low-cost computing resources. The article's objective was the implementation of the lean manufacturing methodology in the production process of an air conditioning metal processing plant. For this, the methodology of 2 phases was used. The company and its current operation, structure, products, and work plan are presented in the first phase, demonstrating its main deficiencies. In phase 2, an improvement plan was made with lean manufacturing tools applied to the deficit of phase 1. As a result of the implementation of these tools, 64%, 80%, 71% and 50% of space in the measuring, cutting, bending, and welding stations, respectively, and an improvement in production times were obtained. Based on the study results, it is concluded that the application of lean manufacturing benefited the company by drastically improving its production process and work environment.

Technological advances make more and more companies transform their manual processes into automated processes, increasing the speed and efficiency of their operations. That is the reason for this research, to test the benefits of automating the administrative processes of the Nuevavista condominium under study located in Peru, focusing on the management of reservations and incidents through the development of a mobile application following the mobile-d methodology. The article resorts to the use of a pre-experimental design with a sample of 279 for each process. The present research work was presented in the context of the deficit problematic in the inventory process of public school in Peru. The main objective is for public schools to use ICTs to improve this process. The methodology used for the development of the research work is Scrum, since it allows the application model to be carried out in an agile and organized manner. The different needs that each stage of the methodology presented were solved by the Balsamiq Mockups tool. Objetive: To describe the characteristics and timing of the process of care for patients treated at the outpatient area during 2014 in the Hospital Base Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo. Material and Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with a sample of 379 new patients in outpatient services. The web application System of Referral and Counter-referrals and the Hospital Management System were used to obtain the sample and data. Results: The actual reference time and effective referral time had a median of 36 days and 39 calendar days respectively; the time of diagnosis had a median of 0 days, the actual treatment time and the effective treatment time had a median of 0 days, the real laboratory time and the effective laboratory time, with medians of 45 and 48 days; and finally, radiological waiting time has a median of 73 days and the waiting time for radiological outcome has a median 0...
