This study focused on evaluating the effect of mediating technologies on post-pandemic educational processes, emphasizing their essential role in enhancing interaction and cooperation between teachers and students. Although their relevance is evident, challenges persist in terms of access, quality, and evaluation of technological educational initiatives. Commonly the searching and identification of new particles, requires to reach highest efficiencies and purities as well. It demands to apply a chain of cuts that reject the background substantially. In most cases the processes to extract signal from the background is carried out by hand with some assistance of well designed and intelligent codes that save time and resources in high energy physics experiments. In this paper we present one application of the Mitchell’s criteria to extract efficiently beyond Standard Model signal events yielding an error of order of 1.22%. The usage of Machine Learning schemes appears to be advantageous when large volumes of data need to be scrutinized.

The following study proposes to analyze and compare the computational response provided by the Single Board Computers (SBC) Raspberry Pi CM4 and Nvidia Jetson Nano because those are important elements in machine learning applications and implementation of automated systems. Both were chosen due to their similar specifications to achieve a fair comparison. ICT in the educational context can be seen as information transmitting resources that link the teacher and the student in the improvement of teaching-learning adapted to the needs and characteristics of each subject. From this perspective, we seek to describe the state of Iberoamerican scientific production on the inclusion of ICT in the educational discipline in the period 2010 to 2020, based on a retrospective descriptive analysis of publications collected in journals indexed in Scopus. We describe the design and development of sensor nodes, based on Edge computing technologies, for the processing and classification of events detected in physiological signals such as the electrocardiographic signal (ECG is the electrical signal of the heart), temperature, heart rate, and human movement. This research explores the perception of customers in Spain about interactions with chatbots as customer service agents and attempts to identify the communicative and marketing factors of success in this interactivity, which is growing in the Broadband Society. To achieve the research objectives, a quantitative methodology is followed through a survey aimed at Spanish clients without distinction of origin. The results show that customers’ perception of the chatbot depends on the context. If the customer’s question or request is simple, the perception is positive; if it is a complex question, the perception is negative.
