The nature of the present study was mainly to determine the relationship between the performance of environmental impact assessment and the quality of the environmental certification service for energy projects in the period 2016-2019. A survey was applied to the users of the environmental certification service for energy projects in the aforementioned period. The analysis and interpretation of the information was performed using correlation tests to determine the significant relationship between the dimensions of both variables. Standards contribute by making development, manufacturing and supply of products and services more efficient, safer and competitive. This article presents the implementation of ISO/IEC 29110 in a four-person IT startup company in Peru. After completing the implementation of the ISO/IEC 29110 project management and software implementation processes using an agile approach, the next step was to execute these processes in a project with an actual customer: software that facilitates communication between clients and legal consultants at the second-largest insurance companies in Peru. Managing the project and developing the software took about 900 hours. Using ISO/ IEC 29110 software engineering practices enabled the startup to plan and execute the project while expending only 18 percent of the total project effort on rework (i.e., wasted effort). To apply a Quality Management System (QMS) in small business, is a worth experience and also it is an example for others in Peru. This is the reason why we describe this experience that is due to a work done to implement the QMS ISO 9001:2008 with an emphasis on production, in a small company of industrial garment, being this, the first in the country to certify in that field. The article points out the requirements and the proper procedure to be followed by a small industrial clothing company to achieve a successful implementation in their organizations and obtain the certification.

Introduction: The practice of medicine today represents a challenge. Objective: To evaluate the characteristics of the work environment and perceptions about the practice of medicine. Materials and methods: Exploratory and transversal studio, online survey (September to November 2020). The characteristics of the work environment, quality in endoscopy, social networks, conflicts of interest and role of scientific societies were evaluated. Results: 208 professionals. Average age 48.5 years, 66.8 % male. Average age of graduated 23 years; 88.9% (n=185) had a certified specialty and 85.6% were gastroenterologists (n=178). This paper examines how implementing an Engineering Processes Laboratory (extrinsic factors) led to the non-dissatisfaction of Industrial Engineering students with the quality of teaching in said course. The study used the factor 10-SINEACE (National System of Evaluation, Accreditation and Certification of Educational Quality) and Herzberg’s theory to measure this impact. This measurement was performed on a representative sample of students of the Engineering Processes course through a laboratory test. Data was collected on the laboratory equipment requirements and students’ needs and was then analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U statistical test. The results showed that the teaching quality was “not dissatisfactory”, providing statistical evidence of the positive impact of the Engineering Process Laboratory.

The strengthening of civil registration and vital statistics (RCEV) systems is essential to assess the impact of health interventions and the effects of health emergencies. Peru faced the COVID-19 pandemic, in the process of strengthening the RCEV system, in which the implementation of SINADEF stood out, which allowed it to improve the quality and coverage of information on mortality. A compilation of information from various public information sources was carried out to calculate the coverage of mortality in Peru for the period 2012 to 2019. The coverage of deaths with medical certification rose from 57.65% in 2016 to 71.6% in 2019 and improved in all regions of Peru at the national level, additionally, online certification of deaths rose from 29% in 2017 to 86% in 2020.
