This article analyzes the outcomes of a teaching innovation project that integrated digital tools and artificial intelligence into history courses at a private university in Peru (the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru) during 2023 and 2024. The teaching innovation demonstrated that these technologies transform the classroom experience by generating new research questions, enabling the analysis of complex social processes, and approaching data collection and the dissemination of student research in new ways. The interactivity of digital tools promotes an interdisciplinary approach and greater student participation in the classroom, preparing students for the professional challenges of the 21st century.

Education is a process in constant change and research. Moreover, in the field of the arts, it is important, especially in the Peruvian context, to see how the educational dynamics are being given in the context of university teaching around theater, since in recent years there has been a notable increase in institutions that offer this type of degree. With the arrival of the pandemic, this brought changes in educational methodologies and processes in various fields and clearly, one of the most affected was the university one. This document aims to review the educational programs offered by educational institutions in theater with university degree in the city of Lima in Peru, the changes that they suffered with the arrival of the pandemic and the horizons that they can take now that we are in a new circumstance as a society.

The aim of the study was to describe theoretical-practical tools of the professional teaching and learning process as a category of university teaching. The study was carried out from January to June 2021, where teaching was considered as the first university mission, the category that refers to the professional process of teaching and learning. Based on the andragogical characteristics, this thesis explains the andragogical principles, the importance of adult education, the difference between learning and teaching of children and adults, the characteristics of adults and learning methodological strategies for the effective training of miners. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the adoption of virtual and hybrid teaching methods, leading to substantial changes in educational approaches. This study focused on evaluating the effect of mediating technologies on post-pandemic educational processes, emphasizing their essential role in enhancing interaction and cooperation between teachers and students. Although their relevance is evident, challenges persist in terms of access, quality, and evaluation of technological educational initiatives. This paper presents an experience in teaching innovation whose goal is to improve learning in engineering students and teachers (University of Seville, Spain). This innovation offers students a realistic, professional and updated vision of the contents, allowing them a direct contact with the problems posed by the knowledge and competence inherent to a subject, using facilities and resources at a high-tech research laboratory. It is an assessment-research case study that uses quantitative and qualitative methodologies. The results show improvement in the students’ learning processes as well as their high satisfaction; it also highlights the difficulties found. The teaching-learning processes nowadays require pedagogical supports that allow the teacher to generate a space of real interaction from the classroom, for the student with his career; the training of professionals in earth sciences or engineering, must be accompanied by the teaching of computer programming, using high-level languages, free download and open source, as a resource applied to the solution of specific problems, presented in the stability of slopes. Currently, in various fields, the demonstration of soft skills by individuals is highly valued, which is why university training processes must aim to enhance these skills among students. In this regard, a cross-sectional analytical study was developed under a holistic approach, aiming to analyze the alignment between university teaching practices and the promotion of students' soft skills. A survey-type instrument was created to capture students' perceptions regarding this relationship. The objective was to evaluate the effect of the application of the GeoGebra software on the problem-solving skills of two-dimensional geometric figures in a sample of 53 university students distributed in two groups (control -experimental) evaluated in two moments: before and after the intervention. . Parametric tests were used to compare independent and related pairs and nonparametric tests were used to compare between classification levels. The results showed that the post-test experimental group was the one that presented the best performance, demonstrating that the use of GeoGebra software improved the solving skills of this type of mathematical problems, promoting collaborative work, social-student integration and improvement of the classroom climate. It is recommended to extend the use of this tool with other applications that help the teaching-learning process.

Este trabajo presenta una experiencia de innovación docente cuyo objetivo es mejorar el aprendizaje de alumnos y profesores de ingeniería (Universidad de Sevilla, España). La innovación ofrece a los alumnos una visión realista, profesional y actualizada de los contenidos, permitiéndoles el contacto directo con la problemática del conocimiento y la competencia propios de una materia, usando instalaciones y recursos de un laboratorio de investigación de alto nivel tecnológico. Es un estudio de caso de investigación evaluativa, utilizando metodología cuantitativa y cualitativa. Los resultados indican mejora en los procesos de aprendizaje de los alumnos y su alta satisfacción,señalando también las dificultades encontradas; los profesores, reconocen el proceso de innovación como estrategia para aprender a enseñar y generar mejoras del programa.
