One of the main challenges when managing software projects is determining the effort needed to deliver the product, and in Peru, public entities are aligned in regulatory compliance, which is why the use of agile approaches has increased due to the uncertainty in measuring the size of the software. In that sense, through this research, the development process for OSINFOR was improved by incorporating the COSMIC method to measure the software size and determine the effort for developments. The improved process has been analyzed in two case studies to corroborate the standard measurement and approximation approach from COSMIC method. This study presents the statistical evaluation of a digital image alpaca fibre diameter measurement method, Digital Image Fibre Diameter Analysis (DIFDA). This method developed in the International Potato Center (CIP) requires an evaluation of the fibre sample digital image process, prepared in slides covers and taked from a scanner of negatives and films. The objective of the research is to establish the bases for the standardization of the Peruvian population clothing sizing by means of optimizing resources, processes and supply, adjusted to the satisfaction of the market needs. Surveys of entrepreneurs, interviews with experts and anthropometric measurements revealed important results. Based on international standards and expert recommendations, 28 body measurements were carried out, achieving a method for taking manual body measurements.

This work proposes an electronic equipment aimed at measuring the color difference between fabrics for a homogeneous selection of these. The proposed method analyzes tissues with different illuminants so that, by taking measurements with a camera, the impact of effects such as metamerism can be reduced, resulting in a more accurate method that represents reality. For this, an enclosure was designed and built to allow constant lighting conditions and spotlights with standard lighting were installed. On the software side, the camera was manually configured to ensure persistent measurements over time and the colors obtained from the RGB color space were converted to CIELAB. The study was conducted in a State Educational Institution of the Constitutional Province of Callao, Peru. Type pre experimental with one group pre and posttest, aimed to determine the improvement of Inferential Reading Skills - HIL, through the design and implementation of a program of Iconic method based on experimental evidence in the study of understanding and learning (Estaún, 1998; Monge, 1992; Rengifo and Marulanda, 2007), in a sample of 93 students averaging between eight and nine years old. An instrument being elaborated based on the theories of Goodman (2002) and Inga (2009); to measure these skills. The implementation of the program was more effective in the ability to solve problems.

Introduction: Academic self-efficacy drives achievement and student well-being; however, brief, psychometrically rigorous measures tailored to complex university courses remain scarce. Existing long‑form scales, although thorough, are often impractical for time-constrained research and classroom diagnostics. Objective: to develop and validate the five‑item Self‑Efficacy Scale in Academic Mastery (SSAM). Method: Items rooted in the Social Learning Theory were reviewed by experts (n=6). Psychometric testing used two university samples (N₁ = 180, N₂ = 742) plus the PHQ‑4. Morris water maze (MWM) test is widely used to evaluate the learning and memory deficits in rodents. Image processing and pattern recognition can be used to analyse videos and recognize automatically the tracking in MWM. There are several commercial and free access software that allows analyzing the behavioral tasks although they also have limitations such as automation, cost, user intervention among other things. The aim of this paper was to develop a new image processing technique to automatically analyse the track of the rat in the MWM, which we called RatsTrack.
