This work try to show that cognitive processes about social reality are found influenced by different flows of ideas, which once they established as knowledge perspectives, they are constituted in paradigms of interpretations that through language are expressed in systems of beliefs that define to those who support it: world’s nature, place of the individual on it, possible relationship facing that world and the relationship among individuals itself.

This article is an exploratory study of perceived risk in the construction sector. We used a sample of 514 workers in Spain, Peru and Nicaragua. The method used was the psychometric paradigm and, under its assumptions we have studied nine factors or qualitative attributes of risk. The main statistical analysis was carried out using a classification tree. As a result is obtained that four of the nine attributes studied predict significantly the perceived risk of the sample. The attribute on the delay of the consequences has been the most important predictor in the model, followed by the attribute that explores the potential catastrophic risk and the attribute that explores the serious consequences. Finally the attribute related to the personal vulnerability has emerged. The implications of the results are exposed.

Qualitative research on success in life suggests that this construct is explained by a five-dimensional model: personal growth, social recognition, social goals, happiness, and interpersonal relationships. However, this model has not been evaluated from the point of view of other paradigms to verify its validity. This investigation aimed to test the proposed model of success in life by validating a scale. The first version of the Success in Life Scale, consisting of 72 items, was applied online to 712 volunteers living in the metropolitan area of the Mexico valley. An exploratory factor analysis (EFA) allowed us to obtain a final scale of 43 items distributed in six factors that explain 64.71 % of the variance. It is postulated that the popular stories about saints in the area of Tarata (Tacna) are a continuation of the Andean stories as a result of active listening of the official hagiography (exposed by the evangelizers during the conquest and colony) by the Indians. Although, the stories about saints are far from the official hagiography, the mention of elements that show the saint as a paradigm and how this went through a process of transformation and blend with the environment, in which it was settled or “decided to stay” is evident. The Saints are constituted in characters that enable and support the process of identification with the new culture; when we attribute job and geographical knowledge of the area through interaction with local authorities. Syncretism and oral constant renewal that does not erase the Andean aesthetics and performance is built.

This research develops an analysis of the epistemic construction of nature as an approach to being a subject of rights in international public law. To this end, three objectives are proposed to answer the question: What is required to propose an epistemic construct of nature as a subject of rights in the international sphere that modifies the classic legal framework? The present article is based on a previous study that provided a competencies-based profile of a Peruvian diocesan priest. It is of an exploratory and descriptive nature, and follows the qualitative research methodology. It seeks to establish the behaviors that are necessary for carrying out the pastoral work of a Peruvian diocesan priest. For that purpose, it carries out two studies. In the first one, it identifies five essential generic competencies: Interior Life, Obedience, Leading by Example, Priestly Fraternity and Continuous Education. In the second one, it creates and validates a behavioral dictionary for assessing levels of assimilation of each of the essential generic competencies. Moreover, it provides concrete and measurable indicators of the standard performance of a Peruvian diocesan priest.

La investigación que se reporta parte de un estudio previo en el que se construyó un perfil de competencias genéricas para el sacerdote diocesano en Perú. Es de carácter exploratorio y descriptivo. Sigue un paradigma de investigación cualitativa. Busca establecer los comportamientos necesarios para la realización de la labor del sacerdote diocesano en Perú. Para ello realiza dos estudios. En el primero identifica cinco competencias genéricas indispensables: Vida interior, Obediencia, Liderar con el ejemplo, Fraternidad sacerdotal y Formación permanente. En el segundo, construye y valida un diccionario de comportamientos para evaluar el nivel de apropiación de cada competencia genérica indispensable. Proporciona indicadores concretos y mensurables del desempeño estándar del sacerdote diocesano en Perú.

The concept of soundscape was incorporated in the late 1960s, from the field of acoustics and music, to address the problem of excessive noise in cities and disorderly urban planning, which has led to residential areas ‒which are supposed to be quiet‒ are juxtaposed with commercial and/or production activities that degrade the quality of hearing life. This paper seeks to identify the main frames in the construction of pro-abortion discourses in the social network TikTok. The study is carried out through discourse analysis and the paradigm of visual framing by reviewing the audiovisual pieces —videos— in four dimensions: verbal, visual, aural and ideological. Among the main results, it was found that the different frames identified promote the resignification of abortion as a liberating, heroic, everyday and even fun practice through the use of audiovisual resources with a playful structure, appealing to emotions rather than rationality.

In October 1927, Hipolito Unanue’s mortal remains were exhumed and then burried again at the Illustrious Citizens’ Pantheon. This event was accompanied by various public acts directed to transform the physician Hipolito Unanue into a founding hero. The paper analyzes the various influencing contexts and factors. It emphasizes on two elements: the cult-organized community on the hero’s remembrance and what he represented to medical doctors and the Peruvian society. Mental health is one of the main problems of the 21st century worldwide and in Peru, also affecting the education sector. It is estimated that 40.6% of teachers suffer from chronic work-related stress, depression, anxiety and neurological problems, a situation that is exacerbated by the fact that the majority of Peruvian teachers are over 50 years of age. In this article we present some keys that allow to demonstrate the formulation of the paradigm of justice and its utopian sense of the humanity that develops César Vallejo in The Black Heralds. This paradigm is constructed from its aesthetics curdled from the Andean, family, social, cultural, anthropological, historical, political and juridical experience. This poetic work is a foundation for the whole corpus Vallejiano and marks the course of what would be its peculiar humanism and its cravings for human justice, which constitutes itself in the thread of all its work.
