This paper shows the development of a CASE tool for UML 2.2 diagrams graph, which we will call Lenny UML 1.0. This tool was built to the need for various companies, which acquire a tool like this is very expensive for the payment of licenses and often find it difficult to handle them or understand them, either by their unfriendly interfaces or the language in which they are located._x000D_ LennyUML is designed for all companies regardless of Peruvian area, allowing them to document their systems with diagrams commonly used in our area such as: Use Case diagram, object diagram, class diagram, state diagrams and activity diagrams. This tool serves as a focus for future updates and / or changes that may occur in the system as per the changing and dynamic nature of software development prevents a system can be fully defined in the specification phase or continuing changes The Subsequent phas...

Patellar tendinopathy is characterized by anterior knee pain located at the lower pole of the patella at the junction of the patellar tendon. This is often a disabling condition that limits patients' quality of life, affects their ability to participate in sports, and even hinders their normal daily activities. Extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) has been recognized as a promising and safe alternative for the treatment of various musculoskeletal disorders – including chronic patellar tendinopathy. However, there is limited evidence regarding its side effects, in particular ESWT-associated tendon injuries. To the authors' knowledge, this is the first report demonstrating clinical and radiological evidence of two patients without known risk factors for partial patellar tendon tears that developed this condition after the application of radial pressure wave therapy - also known as ra...

Introduction: Fewer COVID-19 cases and less lethality have been observed at high altitude compared to cases reported at sea level. There are currently no publications reporting clinical behavior of pregnant women with COVID-19 at high altitude. Methods: This is a retrospective study with review of medical records between March 6, 2020 and June 15, 2020. The first thirteen cases of pregnant women with COVID-19 who were attended at Simón Bolívar COVID-19 Hospital, located at 2750 meters above sea level, are described. The cases came from altitudes between 2 035 and 3 502 meters above sea level (masl). Statistical analysis used SPSS, version 19.0. Results: Thirteen cases of pregnant women with COVID-19 confirmed by IgM for SARS-CoV-2 were attended at 2 750 masl (9 022.31 feet) in the Peruvian Andes. Delivery by cesarean section occurred in eight cases (61.5%) and five (38.5%) delivered va...

The purpose of this study was to evaluate clinical effects of dental whitening using two different techniques: the technique used at the dentist and the technique used at home. Ten patients were chosen and divided en two groups, five for each technique. Criteria for evaluation were: color lasting, post operative sensibility, and gums health condition. Results after eight months of clinical evaluation were: 100% of color stability in cases treated with both techniques. Clinical effects of post-operative sensibility were not present in 80% of the cases treated by dentists, while 60% of the cases treated at home presented it. Gum irritation was not present in 100% of the cases treated with both techniques.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, shows mainly clinical manifestations at the respiratory level. It can affect, however, other organs and systems, including the central nervous system, generating neurological manifestations that include the Guillain Barré Syndrome (GBS). We present the cases of two male patients, aged 35 and 46, with GBS, one classified as AMAN and the other as AIDP. Both patients showed positive serology for SARS-CoV-2 and reported respiratory symptoms prior to the weakness condition. RT-PCR in pharyngeal secretion and CSF was negative in both cases. The infection by SARS-CoV-2 was confirmed by the total antibody test in serum through a positive CLIA immunoassay, positive for IgG in the two cases. The characteristics of the cases support a possible postinfectious relationship between SARS-CoV-2 and GBS, and open as well the possibilit...

Subphrenic accepting classified spaces dividing them into four spaces ( two right and two left ) we call : Rights : suprahepatic and subhepótico : Left : suprahepatic lesser sac and lesser sac . In our series there were 16 Free suprahepatic abscesses (53.3 % '8 left suprahepóticos (26.6 % ' 6 subhepatic rights ( 20%) . None in the lesser sac To deal with the pathogenesis of subphrenic abscess, we have divided into two groups : Group a which corresponds to the secondary subphrenic abscesses ie all cases of subphrenic abscess that occurred as a complication of abdominal surgery (22 cases ) and group B includes all primary subphrenic abscesses ie without abdominal surgery . prior . abdominal pathology increased incidence of subphrenic abscess is the stomach and duodenum followed by the liver and extrahepatic bile ducts. subphrenic abscess the post- cpendicectomicr has ceased to be the mos...

Of all patients, 63% were hospitalized in the last months of pregnancy. The tuberculostatic therapy was instituted in all cases currently in use; pregnancy monitoring was conducted by the obstetrician. Nevertheless, reactivations or postpartum lesion extensions have only reached 2%. Dystocia occurred in 4.4% of cases, almost all by obstetric cause; Two patients, cardio-respiratory failure sued caesarean section. Three patients died from pulmonary expansion process, one of which entered into labor in marked respiratory failure due to extensive lesion and severe, complicated with unilateral pulmonary drilling quality. The overall average weight of children at birth showed trends in general, to be lower in the children of mothe...

We studied 8 women transplanted kidney, who completed 10 pregnancies. All grafts were from living persons and 75% were family. The age of pregnant women ranged between 17 and 33 years. The interval between the graft and the pregnancy was 4 months to 5 years, in 3 cases less than one year. Immunosuppression during pregnancy was performed with prednisone (0.15 to 0.20 mglKgldía) and Azothioprina (1.5 to 2.0 mgldía). The most frequent maternal complications were pregnancy-induced hypertension (7 cases), including one case of eclampsia. It was high incidence of urinary tract infection (3 cases), and hydronephrosis, negative factors in the future of the graft. decreased renal function in 2 cases reversible acute rejection and in 1 case was detected. The delivery was by Caesarean section seven cases, a figure that we consider high and may decrease in the future. Delivery implemented to short...

Introduction: Primary extrauterine choriocarcinoma is a rare entity and it usually involves the uterine cervix. Primary choriocarcinoma of the Fallopian tube is even rarer. Its clinical presentation resembles an ectopic pregnancy. The diagnosis is made by microscopic examination. Objective: We present two cases of primary tubal choriocarcinoma. Cases presentation: The first case presents a 27-yearold nulligravida who complained of pelvic pain for 30 hours and vaginal bleeding lasting 20 days. The second case is a 34-year-old women gravida 3, para 3, who was admitted because of increasing pelvic pain for the last 3 days and sparse vaginal bleeding for 2 weeks. On examination, both patients looked pale. The hemoglobin and hematocrit levels were 7.4 g and 28 mm, respectively. In both cases, the βhCG test was positive. Ultrasound examination in both cases showed an echogenic mass in the rig...

The geal of our research is that, Community knows the initial and advanced oral lesions in asymptomatic carriers and patients with HIV positive patient/AIDS, respectively with the purpose of preventing from contangion of Acquired Inmuno Deficiency Syndrome(AIDS). In order to accomplish this work, dependent variable "oral lesions" was contrasted with independent variable "positive HIV patients/AIDS". We studied 147 cases and evaluated 132. Aclinical, mycologic and histopathologic research was carried out in order to get a diagnosis of the positive HIV/AIDS associated oral lesions, we selected 116 positive HIV/AIDS cases and HIV-/normal, control cases (16 cases). Four groups of pateients were formed. The first group included candidiasic lesions, 93 cases, 70.45%, where observed they were associated to the four stages of AIDS, with the most prevalence in the Pseudomembranous Candidiasis (72...

This work has two objectives. First of all, to offer psychometric instruments that help more precisely identify and differentiate children with specific language impairment (SLI) in the educational field and, secondly, to establish profiles of the two cases that illustrate the two current subtypes of SLI: phonologic-syntactic SLI and lexical-syntactic SLI. According to bibliographic reviews, the following tests are ideal for its identification: on the one hand the CELF-4, because language should be significantly the most affected area, the WISC – IV, an optimum test for the determination of the level of non-verbal reasoning, verbal comprehension, working memory and processing speed, and the FON, on a phonetic level, due to the level of analysis of the errors found. The results obtained in both cases corroborate a Perceptual Reasoning measured with WISC - IV, above 75, and the presence ...

We report 116 cases of benign and malignant tumors of the genital area of children and adolescents up to 17 years, diagnosed in a span of 19 years, from 1952 to 1971 at a single institution. These tumors are rare at this age, they constitute only 0.6%; instead, they are much more common in adult women after age 17, group forming 99.4% of our cases. Of the 116 cases more than a third they corresponded to the group of malignant and almost two-thirds have been benign. 40 cases of malignant tumors of OU casuistry, represent the biggest single resportada so far in series. The most common malignant tumors in childhood and adolescence are ovarian location, which representana more than two-thirds of the total, followed by vaginal location. We emphasize certain gynecological principles that guide the surgeon in the management of benign ovarian tumors in children and adolescents. Our series of gyn...
