The purpose of this study was to evaluate clinical effects of dental whitening using two different techniques: the technique used at the dentist and the technique used at home. Ten patients were chosen and divided en two groups, five for each technique. Criteria for evaluation were: color lasting, post operative sensibility, and gums health condition. Results after eight months of clinical evaluation were: 100% of color stability in cases treated with both techniques. Clinical effects of post-operative sensibility were not present in 80% of the cases treated by dentists, while 60% of the cases treated at home presented it. Gum irritation was not present in 100% of the cases treated with both techniques.

The object of the study was to evaluate the clinical performance of disperse phase amalgam and Z350 resin in Class V restorations. 60 bicuspids and molars were selected with caries without pulp compromise; these were divided in to 2 groups: Group I, 30 restorations class V with disperse phase amalgam, Group II, 30 restorations class V with resin Z350. We evaluated in each restoration: marginal adaptation, secondary caries, and post-operative sensibility. The results showed 100% success related to marginal integrity and carious recurrence. There was not post operative sensibility, after 06 months of evaluation in 60 treated cases.

The present investigation incluided: 100 samples, 20 control groups (Universidad Nacional Agraria students), and 80 patients infected with HIVIAIDS; 25 with level If, 35 with level III, and 20patients with level IV. Average proteinic fractions and salivary percentage were taken: Albumin 45.15%, SALIVARY ALBUMIN 15.2%, GAMMAGLOBULIN 75.94% (SIGNIFICANCE LEVEL 1.00%). Problem Sample.- In the problem sample we can see a considerable alteration in the serical electrophorelics proteins. Spit: level II, 22.12% albumin, gammaglobulin 77.64%, level III, albumin 16.35%, gammaglobulin 83.49%. IV 7.71% albumin and 92.37% gammaglobulim. There is a diferrential relationship between normal values of serical gammaglobulim and salivary ones, in HIV/AIDS infected patiens and there is an increase of bucal pathologies.
